Default Revolution in Dalance (For Pippy-kun)

Dalance had once been a peaceful land. At least seemingly peaceful. The strict and oppressive hierarchical rule maintained peace and order at the expense of the plebeians. At least that's how Niccolo saw it. Which is why he joined the Blue Cloak Revolution, which vowed to overthrow the power of the nobles and eventually the monarchy. The Blue Cloak Revolution had succeeded in claiming southwestern Dalance, but still gave up 3/4th of the country to the Dalancian Kingdom.

Niccolo had been serving in this war for three long years and on his 21st birthday, he decided to return home. Shortly before he enlisted in the war, his father, mother, and sister had been jailed for refusal to pay taxes. They were denied the opportunity to defend themselves and were not even given a proper sentencing. Niccolo was not jailed since he was a minor at the time. Now that the revolution had gained more steam, perhaps he could free them.

Niccolo entered his home village of Carme, and quickly found that the noble Lady Carmana had since been evicted from her position and the village had united with the Blue Cloak Republic. However, when Niccolo checked the jail and his family's house, there were not signs of them. He began asking neighbors, but had little luck. As he was walking around, a shadow descended upon him, and he was shoved. He noticed a cloaked figure running away and found his wallet to be missing. He chased after the figure and saw her distributing his coins among war refugees. Since he felt slightly responsible for their condition, he decided to let them have the money. As he began to turn around the cloaked figure's hood fell down.

Niccolo recognized the figure to be Lady Carmana. Even though her style had changed and she seemed rougher, he had never forgotten her face as he saw his family being carted away. "You!" he shouted at her, "Where is my family?!"

The woman handing out the coins was indeed Lady Camana, Though she Went by her name more around town as Lucile She had short curly black hair the curls curling around her face and peeking out of the brown hood that went to her forearms barley covering her long blue dress tat had a brown corset on her waist looking like hand made.

As the man grabbed her she dropped the coins letting out a yelp of fear not knowing what was going on "LET ME GO!" Lucile shrieked trying to pull away making her robe fall off her on to the ground into the mud now showing of her beaming green eyes past her hair. To be honest she has no idea who he was at all.

"You know me," he said in a quiet but firm voice. "I am Niccolo, of the Voltaire's. Where did you put my family?" Seeing her made the anger in the throat rise, but he was able to keep his calm. It would be of no use for him to lose his cool. His long history with her made his head spin, but causing a raucous would no doubt involve the local police or guards. He was determined not to let her get away, until he extracted the information from her.

He did not notice any of her features or clothing, all he saw was a villain who had tortured this village. His focus was so strong, he did not even think to revel in her fall from power, or use that against her.

"WHO?!" she let out in confutation shaking her head before raising her free arm and slapping him square across his face leaving a pink mark there "Let Me Go you brute!" Lucile was truly confused... You see She had been whacked across the head a few times by her people well more large men whacked her with a huge metal pipe so she had lost some of her memories when she was out cold... Or that's what she claimed.

She had no recollection of his family or where they are even had been put she only remembered her name and who she was and what she did... somewhat.

"You jailed my family for not paying taxes," Niccolo responded. As he looked into her eyes, he saw no recognition or familiarity. Was this really Lady Carmana? It had to be, he knew it. Perhaps the shock of the revolution drove her to assume a different mental identity. Or maybe something more sinister had happened.

Niccolo saw no point in continuing to bother this woman. She clearly had nothing useful to offer him. He walked away and continued his search in the city, asking neighbors, guards, and even trying the mayor. His efforts went unrewarded.

She blinked for a moment of Suddenly being let go "w-wait?! NICCOLO!" she said remembering someone named that, Her body told her to pick up her small coin bag and coat and fallow him... She pulled up her hood and fallowed him slowly learning more and slightly remembering things

She fallowed him until he got to the mayors office before hiding near a wall to keep safe so maybe she could over hear what they talked about... She wanted to see where he went... and maybe she could tell him something though she didn't give a rats patooy what he knew but she did admit it gave her a thrill she hadn't felt in a while.. It made her feel... Well GOOD Amazing in fact the thrill of tricking her people never seemed to not thrill her, She couldn't wait too send him in circles.

Niccolo felt like he was being watched, but figured it was due to his paranoia from the war. However he began hearing footsteps and seeing shadows. He hoped he wasn't hallucinating. He casually rounded a sharp corner and waited. He quickly turned around and discovered it was Lady Carmana.

"Why are you following me," he demanded. He hoped she had remembered something about his family, but remembered who she was when he was a kid. Perhaps she had come with some devious plan. He stared at her, challenging her with his gaze.

"oh~ you wanna know why i'm fallowing you?" 'Lady Carmana giggled with glee watching him "so you wanna know where your mommy and daddy are?" she said walking around him "lets see if i remember right..... mm.... West of the woods near a cave in a dungeon that's also underground~" she said holding her her coin pouch "but you can't get there by foot it would take you days Niccolo." Lucile let out a devilish smirk curl in her lips before walking slowly away

"Oh...by the way" she said turning around looking at him "you might as well go find your self a horse so you can take me with you....~" she said pulling her coat tighter "find me at my house... you know where i live." she said more angrily walking away.

Niccolo was put off by her taunting demeanor, but was intrigued by the information she might have. He gathered a pair of horses from an old friend. He didn't know if there was some kind of trap waiting for him, but he had to take the chance. He readied his revolver and traveled to her domain. He tied the horses a good distance away from her house to avoid her hearing his approach. He attempted to sneak in unnoticed by entering from the back. In case she had any surprises, hopefully he would be able to catch them before and put her in a position of vulnerability. But why was she offering to help him, he wondered.

Lady Carmana was sitting on her bead half dressed packing she had her underwear on but seemed to be looking for a dress to wear but you can see she has a small map tucked into her back of her bloomers it was old a tattered but it was a map you could tell.

she also had a small key set on her night stand with a old lantern next to it that was already on.
