Appearance: Lane wears a very plain but specific style. He likes to wear tan khakis along with black shirt short sleeve shirt, though he is normally seen wearing a black light fleece (mainly unzipped). The inside of the fleece has a tan fake fur effect along. For the most part he is never seen without it and had first been given it when he was younger, it was far too big for him then but it fits him quite well now.
He has white skin with a slight tan and is seemingly from English descent, though he has an American accent. He has short black hair cut about a half an inch above his eyebrows. The hair is fine and straight though due to his lack of combing it is often messy and flat. His eyes are of fitting size for his face and be no means small or large. He has a clear face with some residual flesh from childhood allowing for still somewhat round cheeks, suitable for the 14 year old he is. He is pretty skinny otherwise and cannot exercise for too long without tiring, though he does have decent upper body strength.

History: Lane never met his parents. He was first put up for adoption when he was born though with some research he found a nurse who had said it had been because of some problem within the parent’s family, other than this he is in the dark about them. He was never fully adopted however, he was sent from foster home to foster home. When he was in elementary school he was in one home that greatly impacted his personality. The owners could keep no order in this home. Other kids more often than not picked on Lane or just excluded him altogether. There were other times where they were just left alone. Because of this and common movement he never really made many bonds with others, while he doesn’t lack the ability to he simply never saw a reason to so far. Another home he was sent to was, well, another normal dreary foster home. At this point he was beginning to think about the life he was leading and was becoming fed up and agitated. He thought this would be the place he would stay until he became an adult but then another event happened. He was paired with another kid who was his exact opposite, the kid wasn’t mean or abusive but their personalities clashed too heavily for Lane’s likening, though this went unnoticed by his roommate. One day after an absolutely horrible day at school for him he had enough and when his roommate made a remark that he just couldn’t stand, he then snapped and yelled at him loud enough for the people on the next block to hear. He was sent to counseling for a short while after that but he just withdrew himself and convinced the counselor it was a one time event. Now he heads to Erehwon. He’s been to many homes but from the mysterious reputation of Erehwon it seems to be like nothing he’s experienced.

Personality: He is a generally shy, albeit polite fellow. He doesn’t have any major behavioral issues and can normally contain his temper when others are bothering him. Though when someone does finally burst this it either leads to him breaking down and becoming quite sad or very angry and in these situations be somewhat verbally abusive. Because of his shyness he has rarely been keen on physical touch from others and tends to be uncomfortable in intimate situations.
He can also be quite stubborn on beliefs which he believes he has the moral high ground.
School: His schooling has overall been quite good. He keeps his grades in the A’s and B’s for the most part though the occasional C does come along due to his “inability” to do homework or study.
Interests/Hobbies: He is quite science oriented. He absolutely adores any time he can be near or around technology and at times has gotten in trouble for breaking the school security to get to game sites. He tends to stay out of sports though he does enjoy ultimate Frisbee when others are playing.


He also has an absolute fear of being alone in the dark. When he is up late and is the only one around he tends to move quickly and jump at any unexpected creaks. When the power goes out at night it often takes him a couple of minutes to calm down.
Relationships: He is just entering the house and is quite nervous of whom he’ll meet.
