Finding a Connection (For Little Sayuri)

It was a warm day in April with the sun shinging golden in the cerulean sky, with the birds singing happily. Not that Tony Stark would have noticed. Currently, he was buried in one of his workshops, busily working on another suit, his music blasting.

Alone with his thoughts, working on a design for a few new arrows, Clint worked quietly, as the floating fortress steamed along, high above the city.

In his own right, Thor was lost in his thoughts. He'd returned to Earth, shortly after seeing his brother safely into custody. He hadn't wanted to be around to see the young man in chains, and so had left, for the moment, to work with the others of the team he'd found himself in. He wasn't quite sure, still, how he'd ended up working with the group.

Steve Rogers, also known as Captain America, was busy doing his workout in the gym, lost in thoughts while he was punching the bag furiously. He was thinking about Peggy while he was doing this. He was still missing her a lot...

Natasha was with Clint and looked around. "We need to get back to Fury soon...do you have everything that you need?", she asked as he was observing.
Suddenly, Nick Fury called them. "Inform all the other Avengers, we need you", he said and Natasha looked at Clint. "Time to go"

Tony ignored the call in the background, prefering to not loose his place on his project.

Clint smiled a little at Natasha, ans stood.
"Let's go," he said, fitting his bow onto his back.

Thor heard the call, and headed into the main room, slowly. He was worried about Jane.

Soon Steve arrived at Tony's house. He stepped in after Jarvis made sure that it was really him and then went downstairs to find Tony, while Jarvis informed him. "Sir, Mr. Steve Rogers is here", he said.

Fury decided to wait till everybody arrived. "Listen everybody, we noticed a new danger near the city, we need you to check it out", he explained.

"A new danger?" Clint asked, narrowing his brilliant blue eyes.

Thor looked over at him and waited.

Tony sighed and said, "I'm a little busy, Cappy."

Natasha looked at Clint, then at Fury and thought about the new information for a while.

Steve sighed and shook his head. "Tony, Director Fury needs us! Its urgent!", he said and pointed at the door. "Come on!"

Tony rolled his eyes.
"I'll be there a while," he said, motioning for the controls to move out and widen his view.

Clint glanced at his watch.
"Where are the others?"

"No, you'll come with me, NOW!", Steve said impatiently.

"I don't know, but I assume that Mr. Stark is giving the Captain a bit of trouble to get here in time", Fury said calmly. "So, I'll begin"
He looked at them. "We scanned paranormal activities near the statue of liberty", he explained. "You need to check this out...We're not sure what is hiding there, but is sure not from this planet"

"WHat is it?" Clint asked, warily. He wasn't too keen on getting closer to anymore aliens.

Thor's brows rose.
"It is not from Asgard?"

Tony turned to glare at him.
"Look, Cappy, I've got my own stuff to do. I don't care, right now."

Steve sighed frustrated and left the house without Tony. He soon arrived at the S.H.I.E.L.D. quarters and entered the meetingroom. "Where is Stark?", Fury asked. "At home, he refused to come here.", Steve said. Fury just nodded. "Agent Romanoff, go and convince him", he said and Natasha sighed but did as she was told.

"I don't know where it comes from, but I wish for you to find it out quickly and inform us about everything", Fury said. "And try to get Stark out of his house too", he told them. It was like forcing a five year old to get his flu shot in his opinion. Stark was still that selfish childish man.
