Beginnings (Naughty Pirate)

Thranduil squirmed around a bit, impatiently waiting for his Ada to catch up to him so he could hurry and go see his best friends. He was not a patient elfling, much to his Ada's often lament. "Ada! Ada, hurry we are almost there!" Thranduil called, crossing his arms with a small pout.

Earendil smiled slightly down at his twin elflings, who were bouncing on the balls of their little feet. "Are you excited my little ones?" He asked, kneeling slowly in front of his sons.

Oropher approached his ever eager elfling, and put an arm around him.
"Ah, you must be patient, my little one," he told his son, pressing a kiss to his golden hair, very like his own.
"We shall get there in good time, Thranduil. Patience," he intoned, for what felt like the millionth time.

Elrond and Elros were standing on the balcony overlooking the courtyard, watching the road for their dear friend. They turned to their ada, and smiled at him.
"Oh, Ada," Elros began.
"We are very excited!" Elrond said, happily.
"We have not seen Thranduil-
"For many months!"

Thranduil gazed at his father with a large smile, taking his hand and nodding. "But Ada! I have been patient all of today!" He whined, kicking his tiny feet in protest as he squirmed about in impatience. "I wish to see the twins! I have missed them."

Earendil chuckled, kissing his elflings and picking them up into his arms. "I know you are excited Little Ones, Thranduil and King Oropher will be along soon enough." He soothed, nuzzling their cheeks lightly.

The twins giggled, and squirmed in his arms.
"He must hurry!"
"Aye, we have waited long enoigh!"
"Most long enough!"


Oropher smiled and pulled his son into his arms.
"Ah, my little one. I do not want you to be impatient. We shall get there very soon, my child," he said kissing his cheek.

Earendil chuckled at his squirming elflings, kissing them each once on the head. "Hush now elflings. I am sure they are coming as soon as they can." He said warmly, settling back with the two on his lap.

Thranduil snuggled closer to his Ada, squirming a bit in his impatience to see his friends. "But Ada! Soon is taking forever!" He declared with an adorable little pout.

Oropher chuckled and oatted his bottom.
"Thranduil, we shall arrive within the hour."

The twins snuggled to their . Ada, their dark hair gleaming in the light.
"Ada, should we notnride out to meet them?" Elrond asked.
His twin's eyes widened at the idea.
"Oh, yes, Ada! Should we not ride out?" He exclaimed.

Thranduil pouted up at his father when the elf patted his little backside, crossing his tiny arms. "But an hour is so long Ada! I do not like waiting."

Earendil chuckled softly, stroking the soft hair lightly and cuddling them close for a moment. "In about half an hour we shall Little One. Do not worry, we shall go meet them." He promised gently.

Oropher smiled and kissed his cheek a bit.
"Calm, son. They shall be here soon," he said, holding his son to his chest.

The twins squirmed a bit, and kicked their legs, happily.
"Ada, they should be here soon!" Elrond said, firmly.
"Aye, very soon!"
"More then soon!"
"Here already!"

Thranduil whined a bit, snuggling close to his Ada and squirming around a bit. "Ada...Ada look! I can see the gates!" He chimed excitedly, pointing with his tiny hand.

Earendil chuckled softly, before standing with his twins in his arms. "Come then Little Ones, it is time we ride to meet your beloved Thranduil." He said, heading to fetch his horse.

Oropher caught his hand, and pulled it down.
"Do not point, Thranduil," he said, mildly as they rode along.
"Aye, we are nearly there, my little one."

The twins beamed at him, and squirmed.
"I miss him, Ada!" Elros said.
"I miss him more!" Elrond argured.
"Nay, I have missed him more!"
