Amy got in the car with the social worker, the eleven year old having mixed feelings about being adopted for the first time in her life. As they pulled up to the house, she got out and saw her new Daddy waiting for her at the front door.

She rushed to him and hugged him. "Thanks for letting me live with you, Daddy." she beamed and walked inside the house. "It's a really big house!"

Daddy as he was standing by the door was a bit taken back when she run up and hugged him,

Then she said thank you for adopting me which made him giggle, oh sit down Amy make yourself at home,

He looks up at the women, is there any thing to sign then, she puts the papers down,

And she points to a cross there, so he signed thank you and good bye she is yours,

Amy smiled and watched the Social worker leave before then sitting down on the sofa and wondering what she could do for fun. She figured exploring the house would be a good way to pass the time so she got up and headed upstairs, looking in all the rooms.

She came across her Daddy's room and walked in. "Wonder what stuff he's got..."

When the women left he said to Amy do you want to go and check your room, its the first room at the top of the stairs,

The one on the left hand side, Amy said her new Daddy do not go into my room across from you,

Or he says if I catch you in there you will get a smacked bottom, Amy do I make myself clear on this,?

Amy nodded her head, "Okay Daddy...I won't." she answered and then her eyes widened when he told her he would smack her bottom. Her hands went protectively to her bum. "What?....but...you don't need to." she answered before then quickly heading upstairs.

She went into his room, tip toeing in, in hopes of not being caught. A smacked bottom didn't sound fun at all. She wondered if Daddy had some money laying around, and then she could go to the shop and get some sweets...

Daddy then after a few minutes sees Amy's case and thinks right I will take it up stairs,

So he walks up the stairs and he just about to go into her bedroom when he saw her messing in the draws,

He stood by the door and he says, excuse me are you looking for some thing, now standing there,

Not very happy at all, Amy can you please explain why you are in my private draw,

Amy turned round and whimpered some, "Um I...." she covered her bottom with her hands. "I was just lookin...I wanted to know if you had some money for sweets...I wasn't going to take it...I just wanted to know if you had any, so that I could ask." she answered and bit down on her lip lightly.

"Can I go to the shop, please?"

Daddy said walking in his room and sitting on the bed, there is such a thing called please and ask,

If you wanted sweets Amy you ask you do not go in draws they are private, now come here please,

Can you tell me what Daddy said to you before you came up the stairs, now young lady please,

Tell Daddy what did I say to you before you came up the stairs, I warned you what would happen,

If you did not take any notice of Daddy did I not Amy, now looking at you as you stand there,

Amy walked over to the bed, whimpering some and hoping he wouldn't send her back to the orphanage because of this. "You said...not to go in your room...or I'd get my bottom smacked..." she answered, blushing and scuffing her toe on the floor.

"I'm sorry....please don't send me back to the orphanage....please Daddy...."

Daddy said I an not going to send you back any where I ave signed the papers, oh no you are my little girl now,

And as you are my little girl you can not say that I did not warn you what would happen,

Did I not Amy, now Daddy wants to ask you a question, have you ever had a smacked bottom Amy,
