Age: 13 years old
Build: He's fairly small all around in spite of his age, slim limbed and agile on his feet, with a very creamy complexion.
Hair: Silvery white, very full and usually gathered into one large braid made up of other smaller braids, with two small braids hanging loose framing his face.
Eyes: A brilliant bright blue.

Personality: A bright and cheerful boy who is usually quite naive and a bit on the carefree side of things. He's young and still young at heart in spite of his spirit-seeing gifts; believing life is a big adventure waiting to happen for him and that things will often turn out just fine in the end no matter what. He nearly always has an upbeat attitude and isn't often stubborn and never bratty. Usually his misbehavior is a result of carelessness, failed attempts at being sneaky or simply being misled by the spirits he tends to be a bit too trusting of.
Backstory: He's the son of a shopkeeper, but was born with the unusual gift of seeing and communicating with spirits. Being a sort of beacon for supernatural activity caused by both human and inhuman entities alike made things very difficult for his family. They were nearly always haunted and not always by benign beings; though Tarquin was usually alright in the end their belongings and business and even their own health suffered. It was finally decided when the boy turned nine years old that he should be apprenticed to a shaman. There he could learn more about controlling his gifts, particularly how to tell a malevolent spirit from a good one and how to rid himself of such unsavory attachments.
