It was a Friday night and while most people enjoyed going out to parties and such to kick off the weekend with a bang twenty four year old Lucas had other things in mind. The plan for the evening was staying at home and while a lot of people would think that was boring the young man was planning on making sure that it was anything but and he had the tools to make that a reality given that his home wasn’t exactly normal. Sure it looked normal from the outside and even mostly from the inside, save for one very particular room that Lucas had worked hard to make what it currently was. There was a secret room in the small house that he owned, a room that he liked to refer to as ‘the playroom’ and that was always kept locked and the key to which he wore on a platinum chain around his neck so that there was no chance of anyone stumbling on the room by accident, and that was where Luc was currently standing. Shifting his gaze around he surveyed the various items of spanking furniture as well as the implements and other items that were scattered about, some prominently displayed on the wall and others left laying about on small shelves that were along the wall. There was an order to everything in the room and Lucas was making sure that nothing was out of place, the young man planning to have some fun with his boyfriend when the other man returned home. Lucas had been dabbling in the BDSM lifestyle for awhile now but his new boyfriend was completely new to it, which the blond thought was fun since that meant that he got to train him to be submissive. Which was a definite turn on as far as he was concerned and while the training itself was going to have patches that were less than pleasant he really hoped that his boyfriend would learn to enjoy it as well. While he himself was a born Dom and wouldn’t have it any other way Lucas was aware that there was a freedom in submission since the sub got to give up all responsibility and just let the dom take care of them and in return the dom got the loyalty and obedience of the sub. A fair trade as far as Lucas was concerned and he was looking forward to introducing the younger man to the whole thing.

22 year old Ethan opened the door to the house he and his boyfriend owned, bags full of shopping clutched in his hands. The man had just graduated university, owning a degree in criminology and was currently trying his hardest to find a job, which was difficult under the current economic circumstances. Right now he was living off his savings and his boyfriends money, who, unlike him had a successful career going for him. He couldn't deny that he got a certain pleasure out of being looked after by his boyfriend, though it wasn't as if he did nothing. He made the meals and made sure the house was tidy, because as nice as it was being cared for, he also liked to keep his boyfriend happy and was more than willing to serve him if it made him happy. Apparently Lucas had a surprise waiting for him when he got home, so he called out his name, smiling to himself, "Lucas? Honey, where are you?" he went into the kitchen when he got no reply and began to unpack all the shopping, wondering what he was going to make for his boyfriend's dinner tonight.

Luc was still lost in his own little world when he heard the sound of the door opening and then a short time later Ethan's voice calling out to him. Taking that as his cue the blond man left the room that he had been carefully putting in order and made his way to the kitchen where Ethan was unpacking the things that he had purchased while he was out. "Welcome home love," he said as he walked over to the younger male, leaning forward and placing a gentle kiss on the top of his head before looking him in the eyes. "I was just getting things set up for later and I guess I lost track of time a bit," he said by way of explaining why he hadn't answered when he was initially called not that he had to justify his actions, nor would he always. "How was your day?" He had missed the younger man, not having seen him since the morning when he left for work. He was a technical analyst and consultant for a great many companies as well as law enforcement agencies, having trained at one of the leading colleges as well as possessing a natural aptitude since he had started out as a hacker himself before deciding he wasn't going to travel down that road. Still it left him with skills that were in fairly high demand so he did well for himself even at his young age. He knew that Ethan was having some trouble finding a job even with his new degree but he wasn't concerned about that since he could support the both of them and felt that it was his responsibility as the dominant in the relationship. That was something that Lucas didn't say however and instead he just wrapped his arms around his boyfriend and asked, "Ready to have some fun love?"

Ethan turned, beaming to see his boyfriend before him, "Hi, Lucas," he said, smiling as the man planted a loving kiss on his forehead. He loved it when his boyfriend did things like that. He gazed into his eyes, taking his hands into his own. "Oh right," Ethan said, nodding at the explanation. Truth be told he was a little bit nervous about what was going to be happening tonight. What if he didn't like it and upset Lucas? Or what if it was too much for him or he messed up somehow? He didn't want to tell him though; one of the things they argued about (though their arguments were rare) was about the younger's refusal to talk about his problems unless forced. Ethan just didn't want to bother his boyfriend with what he felt were trivialities, especially seeing as Lucas was the one with the job, but he had got into trouble quite a few times for clearly having issues on his mind and not speaking up. That didn't stop him from hiding them though. So instead of voicing his fears, he nodded and smiled, wrapping his arms around his middle, "Uh-huh."

Lucas smiled at Ethan as the younger man acknowledged what he said and then he asked his question about whether he was ready to have some fun. The blond was pretty sure that some nerves were inevitable in this situation though he had never been in the position that Ethan would be in to know it by first hand experience. He'd seen enough subs that were new to the lifestyle when he went to clubs and things of that nature to realize that it was a pretty common occurrence. So when Ethan confirmed that he was ready to have some fun Lucas reached out and tilted his head up by placing two fingers beneath his boyfriend's chin, looking into his eyes. "Are you sure? I want you to be certain of it Ethan because I don't want to force you to do this...it has to be voluntary," Lucas told him. Yes there would be times when he would do things that Ethan didn't and wasn't meant to like but if he ever got freaked out he would have a safe word that the older male was planning to give him that he could use. Of course he would be disappointed if he ever took advantage of that fact but he trusted that Ethan wouldn't do that unless he was really distressed over something that was happening.

Ethan sometimes found it frustrating that his boyfriend never allowed him to shy away from his problems. He always confronted them, because that was just what the man was like. As much as he would like to ignore his problems, Lucas was a firm believer in facing them head on and therefore, he, as his boyfriend, had to do the same. He looked into his boyfriends hazel eyes, sighing a little. It was difficult to lie under their gaze, "I'm a bit nervous," he admitted quietly, "but I do still want to do it Lucas, really I do," he wasn't lying this time, he was looking forward to tonight and he was excited by the thought of entering into this little world, but it was entirely new and that made things just that little bit scary, but he didn't want to back out. Besides, he trusted his boyfriend to look after him, he trusted him to know when things were getting too much. Lucas would always look after him, he knew that much.

Lucas knew that ignoring your problems and hiding from them wouldn't help anything and so he was a firm believer in facing and working through them. Which was something that he was trying to impart upon his boyfriend, the man looking at Ethan and saying that he wasn't going to force him into this, just wanting to make sure that the kid really was game for what he had planned. He kept his piercing gaze focused on his lover as Ethan admitted that he was nervous but when he went on to say that he wanted to do that Lucas could tell that he was being sincere and that helped to ease his own worries. "Alright love," he said, giving him another gentle kiss. "If anything that I do freaks you out too much just say the word 'red' and I'll stop and we can talk about it. That's your safe word but I'm going to be very disappointed in you if you take advantage of that," Lucas told him, thinking that the younger man would probably be tempted to use that when he managed to get himself into trouble since as the boy's dom he had taken a direct interest in his behavior and he did punish Ethan when he messed up. He was never cruel about it and it had actually only happened a handful of times since they got together but Lucas didn't think that Ethan was going to manage to stay out of trouble indefinitely so it was bound to come up again at some point in the future.

Ethan was glad that Lucas wasn't insulted by his nervousness; he knew that his boyfriend was loving the BDSM scene and he was worried about upsetting him by being apprehensive about it. It might have sounded stupid to some, but the boy had always been a worrier and he would do anything to keep his boyfriend happy. He nodded at the safe word, committing it to memory and glad that he had a fail safe lest anything should be too hard on him. As nice as it would have been to use the safe word to get out of punishments, Ethan would try his best not to use it. The thought of disappointing his beloved boyfriend made him uneasy, "I know you will," he murmured, "I'lll... I can't promise anything, cos you know what I'm like, but I'll try my best. I don't want to disappoint you," he could remember the few times he had to be punished and how much of a fuss he had put up. There weren't many times Lucas had had to punish him before, but the few times that he had were painful and it was embarrassing just to think of it, "Lucas, can I ask you something?" he asked, wrapping his arms around his waist, "now that we're doing this, are there going to be rules for me to follow?"

Lucas knew that this was going to be an adjustment period for Ethan and he was planning on being extremely careful with his training since he didn't want to scare him or anything. He wanted this to be a positive experience for both of them despite that to the uninitiated it would seem as though he got all the benefits from the arrangement. He had spoken at length to submissives however and he knew that they embraced the freedom that being a sub offered to them and he was hopeful that Ethan would have the same feelings about it. Lucas really did have every intention of taking care of his boyfriend, with or without the BDSM factor involved so nothing in that regard was going to change regardless of how this turned out. When he gave Ethan the safe word he looked into the younger man's eyes when he said that he would try his best and that he didn't want to disappoint him. "I know you don't love," he said gently before reaching a hand out to stroke his boyfriend's hair. "It may be a bit rough in the beginning but I know that you can do it," he added for good measure, keeping his gaze focused on Ethan as he asked his question, Lucas nodding as he said, "You can ask me anything." Lucas listened intently as Ethan asked about rules and he nodded his head though there wasn't a laundry list of them or anything. "Only a few," he replied quietly. "When we're in Dom/sub roles you will refer to me as Master and I expect for you to show me respect at all times. I also expect obedience from you, which goes without saying. If I tell you to do something then I expect for you to do it without question. Of course one of the biggest is that you are never allowed to put yourself at risk but I believe that I've told you that one before...doing such will always result in punishment Ethan. Do you understand?" Lucas may add more rules as time went on but for the moment he was thinking that this would probably be enough for his sub to take in right now and he didn't want to overwhelm him when all of this was so new. He also valued honesty and trust but those were both things that Ethan knew already, they'd had that discussion before.

Ethan smiled a little as he felt his boyfriends' fingers card through his hair, enjoying the soothing feeling the simple action brought, smiling at the encouragement from his boyfriend, "I'll do my best," he said quietly in response. He listened intently as Lucas listed the rules; The first one didn't seem too bad, though it would feel a bit strange, if not exciting to call his boyfriend by that title and he always respected his boyfriend, so that wouldn't be difficult. Constant obedience, however, maybe a little bit harder to abide by, but again, he'd have to try his best if he was going to make Lucas happy. "I understand, Lucas," he said, nodding, "So I don't have to call you master all the time, do I?" Ethan asked, thinking that being one hundred percent obedient all the time and not even being able to call his boyfriend by his name would be a bit too intense for him. Though he was looking forward to this, there would need to be time for relief when it could just be Lucas and Ethan, instead of Master and pet. "And if I break any of those rules, you'll spank me, like before, yeah?" he asked, heat rushing to his face in memory of the previous times Lucas had had to take his boyfriend in hand.
