Tohru felt completely exhausted as he made his way to the training facility underneath the school. He ran a few laps around the track and then made his way to the shooting range. The facility was almost vacant, except for a few students. It was early - the people who didn't really have it in them to train would show up later in the morning. For Tohru, this worked out perfectly with his personality, but he knew firsthand not everyone cared to hold a gun or learn another weapon.

The thing about running laps was that he was tired already, so holding a gun took a more steady hand. He thought of why they were training orphans as mercenaries, but distractions weren't good when training.

He wondered if he ought to learn another weapon when he quit and used a small towel to wipe the sweat off his face. He headed back out to the track and noticed a few more people had shown up, but not Momo.

Momo slowly began to make his way toward the track. He wasn't to excited, seeing as he was to tired too do anything. He put his hands behind his head perhaps it would help him not be so tired. A sigh shot out of his lips as he finally reached the track. Once there he looked around, seeing if Tohru was anywhere in sight. Sure he was about half an hour late, but Tohru wouldn't be mad, woud he?

Momo finally, after about five minutes, found Tohru. He ran over to him, stopping right infront of him. He looked up smiling slightly at the older man.

Tohru looked down at Momo and frowned, trying to ignore the smile Momo was giving him.

"You know, you're pretty late," Tohru said, throwing his towel over his shoulder. "I've already done four laps and practiced at the range."

Momo slightly sweatdropped as he looked at Tohru. He placed his hand behind his head. He knew he was pretty late, but it wasn't his fault they hd to get up so early in the morning. None the less he apalogized.

"Yeah I know, I'm sorry. It's just that it's really early and I didn't think I'd get here that late" he said looking down, unsure if he had made any sense seeing as he was half asleep.

Tohru shrugged, as if he cared less than he actually did. However, getting mad over half an hour seemed rather harsh, and it wasn't as if Momo had made him late as well. The real problem would be if Momo didn't really do anything once he got there.

"Well, maybe you can run a few laps with me, then," Tohru suggested. "It may be early, but you have to train your body."

Momo looked up at Tohru. He really didn't feel like running, but since he was late a couple of laps wouldn't hurt. He quickly nodded putting a smile back on his face.

"Okay fine I'll run" he said rather playfully. "Race?" he asked becoming a bit more awake than previously.

"Sure, we'll race," Tohru said, making his way over to the track. He was glad that Momo was at least more energetic this morning. "How many laps do you want to do?"

Momo's smile grew wider as he followed the older man toward the track. Two tracks should have been enough to satisfy him. "How about two laps for now?" he asked as they finally got to the track. The boy stopped, stretching out a bit.

Tohru couldn't help but roll his eyes - he had a feeling Momo would just go for two laps. Tohru was used to running at least three. Though he'd already run some, and was tired, so two was probably enough for him.

"Okay," Tohru said, watching Momo do stretches. He went ahead and did a few, though he'd already done most of his preliminary stretches for the day. He threw down his towel and began, and once they were finished, he signaled for them to both start running. He hoped today, Momo would feel more ambitious. Maybe it hadn't been a good idea to choose someone he knew well, that he was close to, to be his partner.

Momo watched as Tohru got ready. As he did the same he moved a few inches closer the the man, still stretching. Once he was close he stopped stretching and got ready to run. He looked over at his partner with a big smile. "I'm gonna win this time" he smirked as he looked at him, but just as he was about to start running, he took a step forward tripping over his own feet. He blinked as he landed on the ground, but quickly sat up. "Hold on time out that doesn't count" he protested hoping Tohru wouldn't just run passed him, making him have to catch up.
