Connecting as Family- Ryft and Soku

[Soku]

Seth drove his four door car along the familiar streets. His hands were steady the wheel, a couple of fingers tapping a bit as he stopped at a light waiting for it to change, looking over at a local corner store, memories flashed of a child hood him racing just down the sidewalk with money clinched in his hand to buy flour or a loaf of bread always an extra dollar or two to get him and his sisters a treat.

Seth shook his head lightly casting away the memory as the light switched to green, He let out a sigh, his parents were called on business as always but this time more then what any babysitter would stay, so he was called here, back home. Not that it mattered...he was not DOING anything..well not anymore at least. The reason the subject he did not like to think about so out his mind it went.

Seth had sort of lost touch in his two years of college making him nineteen and not knowing much about his sisters in the last two years. This is what freaked him out the most, made him nervous and sweat to much gosh darn it! Communicating, talking with his sisters again....he had always been a bit awkward with people, especially ones he did not know, and it sucked he pretty much thought he id not know his own siblings anymore....

Letting out another sigh, Seth made a turn just a few blocks from home.

Kerrin on the living room window sill stretched out like a cat. Her eyes stayed on the drive way as she muttered soundlessly to herself under her breath. She swung one leg back and forth lightly a frown on her lips. She let out a sigh, she did not like the arrangements that were happening, and she was bored. Rin -as she insisted to be called- was watching for her older brother, Seth. Rin rested her head back on the in the corner of the window and wondered what Kaede and Misaki were up too?

[Terra]

Misaki walked through, stretching. She munched on an apple as she went to sit in her chair in the living room. The girl was blind, but was used to the house's layout and could navigate it without help if she was careful. She plopped into her seat and stretched, listening for the door to open.

[Soku]

Rin shifted in her spot and watched her sister enter and skillfully navigate her way to her favorite chair, her dull eyes of boredom lit with a bit of interest as she watched her younger sister munch on an apple, "Hey Misaki, how are you on this crazed world of ours?" The girl waved her hands above her with a sigh to dramatize things.

[Terra]

Misaki shrugged, getting comfortable in her chair. "Better than yesterday.." She said softly. The previous day at school was tough for her since no one told her that things in the classroom were moved around. So she fell after thinking she was nearing her desk, and everyone made fun of her the whole day for it.

[Soku]

Rin watched her shoulders go up and down before her sister gave a vague response. As much as an uncaring older sister as Rin did act at times, she was pretty protective over Misaki when needed, the twelve year old sat up on the sill, "What happened? And don't say nothing either."

[Terra]

Misaki explained what happened after a moment of silence. She didn't like talking about things like that, because it occasionally made her feel like she was a burden. She fidgeted lightly, rubbing a bruise on her side.

[Soku]

Rin waited patiently or as patience as she could by swinging her legs as her sister finally got the story out. Rin felt her temper climbing with each word. Finally her seat could not contain her, She jolted up, her fist balled up as she swung them in front of her, "Oooooo...! Those! Grrr! I am so fired up!" She clenched her fist in front her face, eyes squeezing closed, "Slimmy no life slugs that what they hare are Misaki, don't let em put you down." The girl growled.

[Terra]

Misaki blinked a few times at Rin's reaction. She wasn't sure what the girl was doing, but she could make a few guesses. Misaki nodded at her when she spoke, finishing her apple and wrapping it in a napkin to throw away later.

[Soku]

"Lucky I don't go down there and put tacks in all their chairs then each time they screamed you could laugh." Rin crossed her arms with an annoyed huff before trying to get her anger down, its what got her sent to that stupid anger management "club" for the last three months what a crap load that was! She would never admit to herself that it actually helped her emotions somewhat.

Seth made a smooth turn and pulled into the driveway of his house, "Nothings changed." He muttered looking at the same house as always. Stopping the engine, he sat in the car for a few seconds before getting out and shutting the door. He locked it manually before rounding to the trunk to get his bags, "No turning back now..."

[Terra]

Misaki giggled quietly at Rin's idea, curling up on the chair. She didn't think Rin would actually do that, but she also wouldn't put it past her if someone made her mad enough. Misaki heard a door close, but ignored it, thinking it was a neighbor's car or something similar.
