Stephanie McMahon was walking towards her office for the night so she can take a look at the match card for today's event. After a very long plane ride, she wasn't up for doing much and even the smallest thing could set her off onto the entire roster. She gives out a huge exhale as she sits down in her office chair and begins to finalize the match card hoping that nothing does set her off but her hopes were destroyed as she heard knocking on her door. As much as she wanted to yell whoever it was at the opposite side of the door to go away but it's probably something important and she exhales once again. "Come in." She yells loud enough for the person to hear and she puts her papers down so she could talk to the person eye to eye.

Who was knocking on the door? The purple haired woman known as Sasha Banks, freshly changed in her ring gear as if already expecting to compete tonight. However she isn't in the greatest of moods at the moment, most likely due to something happening during the travels, so the moment she heard the loud yell Sasha gave off a sigh of annoyance, loud enough for Stephanie to hear, before entering the room. "Hey Steph," the woman referring to herself as The Boss started. "I'm wondering if me and Bayley are going to compete tonight or not?" she adds in with another tone of annoyance.

Stephanie sighs looking through the papers she had as she distinctly remembers she had the purple haired woman and the hugger booked in some kind of match involving RAW this week. "Yes, you and Bayley will be competing in a dark tag team match against Nia Jax and Tamnia. Now if you excuse me, I have more matches to book." Stephanie informs Sasha meaning the match would take place after the cameras had ceased broadcasting to the world and she didn't want to hear any arguing from Sasha.

The sigh was heard and immediately Sasha gave off a more annoyed look. She didn't even want to ask Stephanie about it but it was Bayley's curiosity that made the purple haired Tag Team Champion come ask about if they were being booked or not. Yet the moment 'dark tag team match' entered her ears The Boss' eyes sharpen. "Excuse me? Did you just say 'dark tag team match'? Why not you put someone else in the dark slot and have my match be on TV?" she 'asked' with a more whiny kind of tone than one that would just ask for curiosity. Maybe Banks to starting to let her anger seeth through right now? But if so...then probably against the worse person to do this to.

"The reason why I put your match in the dark slot is that we have many other superstars that need their time on television as well so we can built them up for the next PPV and the fact we are having an Intercontinental Championship match between The Miz and Seth Rollings as the main event. And your little outburst isn't helping your position on the card. My mind is set now go and get ready for your match before my headache gets any worse." Stephanie explained to the two as she did not find Sasha's outburst charming in the slightest.

"But shouldn't my PPV match get more build up? Like, couldn't Miz and Seth like have their match in the dark slot, since I doubt anyone would want to watch the Intercontinental Championship not change hands," Sasha voices her complaints, clearly more upset about her apparent pride not being on television than actually worrying about Stephanie's 'headache'.

"You asking to have The Miz and Seth to be put in the dark slot with the prestigious Intercontinental Championship, that my husband Triple H and so many others have carried to be put in the dark slot?" Stephanie questioned not believing the words that are coming out of the purple-haired woman's mouth. "We still have two more weeks til the next PPV and Bayley and you will have plenty of opportunities to build up your match on Smackdown and the following Raw. Now leave now so I can continue my work. I am not going to ask you again." The billion dollar princess said.

"If the Intercontinental Championship is as prestigious today as it was back when your husband held it then it can survive being in the dark slot. The Women's Tag Team Championships needs to be actively on TV or else it'll basically be like the United States Championship," again Sasha insults the integity of a title as she answers Steph's question. But in her mind she is more trying to get her and Bayley on television...so maybe her attitude has blinded the purple haired wrestler from the fact she is practically digging herself a hole, let alone how rude she is sounding at the moment.

'Now leave now so I can continue my work. I am not going to ask you again.'

Though the reason The Billion Dollar Princess would've been good enough for her huggable tag team partner, The Boss was not having it. "Fine," brattily leaves Miss Banks' lips as she turns to leave. "No wonder multiple people are hoping that Cody's 'project' goes well," she adds in before heading to teh door.

Stephanie was glad hearing that Sasha was leaving, however, hear her mention Cody's project Stephanie slams her match booking binder close and immediately rises to her feet. She obviously knew about the rise of the AEW promotion that was gaining attention with each passing day and definitely something that the higher-ups including Stephanie did not to be talked about among the locker rooms. Now fed up with the boss bratty attitude Stephanie reaches into her desk and pulls out a paddle. "Sasha, bring your ass to my desk right now." Stephanie said as she wanted the first glance Sasha to see when she turns around to be the authority figure holding a paddle. "It obvious that you are drowning in your own success after winning the Women's Tag Team championship that you think you can go around demanding anything you want. Well, I think it's time you are knocked from your high pestle. Bend over the desk, right now young lady." Stephanie commanded as she makes way to allow Sasha to do so and from her tone of voice she didn't allow Sasha to utter a word of defense for herself.

The slamming of the binder immediately made the purple haired brat jump as, after being momentarily frozen to the spot, the insultive Champion slowly turn to see Stephanie actually standing up. Yeah, mentioning AEW should've been a major no-no, especially in front of figureheads...especially the ones who decides who get to become Champions at the end of the day. The Boss is clearly going to learn this the hard way when her eyes widened at the sight of a paddle. "What the fuck are you doing with one of those!?!" instantly eeps out the disrespectful competitor's lips before hearing the daughter of the boss declare that she is 'drowning in your own success'. Truth be told this wouldn't be the first time Sasha has complained about things not going her way, at least according to many backstage, so maybe the paddle was bought with her in mind?

Or is there some other, especially secret, reason why Steph would have a paddle in such easy access?

Either yes or no Miss Banks could easily hear Stephanie call her a 'young lady' and even dared to back up instead of stepping forward at McMahon's command, the tone being firm and stopping the purple haired woman from saying anything but The Boss doesn't want to roll over...especially since it may make her look weak if any of the other women find out.
