Mysteries of Risma

It is mid-morning, and the regional professor, Johnathon Fir, bustles about in his lab, as he was expecting at least one new-comer trainer to come and choose one of the three regional starter Pokémon

[NeroKun]

Walking towards his Risma Laboratory was a brown haired boy named Mero. He wore a black and red hoodie with matching black jeans. He had his bag with all his journeying needs, but lacked the one thing to start his adventure, a Pokemon Partner!

[Chrysm]

As the boy moved through the halls of the palace, Professor Fir readied the Pokémon

"OK" he said, throwing the Pokéballs up "One of you is about to have a new friend and trainer"

"Stumplet, Cintah, Neamph"

As each ball opened, the beams of light revealed a small quadruped Pokémon that looked like a tree stump, a young cheetah cub Pokémon with no spots and small patches of fluff around its feet, and a small bipedal salamander-like Pokémon, respectively

He looked over the Pokémon as they stretched, before glancing out the nearest window

To the south, there is a forest that is full and thick. So thick, the sunlight could not penetrate the upper canopy. Yet the lower forest appeared to be lust as lush as the treetops

Soon, a brisk breeze picked up. But it was not the natural wind that caused it. There was someone rushing through the treetops, so fast, one would think a Pokémon had rushed through. But it was not a Pokémon. It was a person. A person with exceptional speed and agility

Soon, the person was followed by a Flying type Pokémon, attempting to match speed. It gave out a playful sounding squawk as it came near the person, causing the person to laugh

"Come on, Jaquimo, you can do better than that" came a girl's voice from the person

The Pokémon flew a little faster, coming into a small patch of light, revealing itself to be a Swellow, as it tried to fly past the girl, who only kept laughing in a playful sense

"You're not gonna match Razorro's speed if you can't maneuver through this" the girl said encouragingly

[NeroKun]

Nero walked into the lab and looked around the place. Seeing Pokemon as far as the eye can see, and also Pokemon he never seem before. Then again he was in Risma, a place of peculiar Pokemon. Nero walked until he saw the Professor.

"Heeeello! Anyone heeeere?!" Nero shouted aloud.

[Chrysm]

Fir turned as he heard a shout

"Ah, I was wondering "when you'd show up" he said

[NeroKun]

Nero looked at the professor and smiled and bit. "Sorry about that. I'm a little late."

[Chrysm]

"Not at all" Fir said "The Pokémon area waiting in the other room. Once you've picked one, we'll get your Pokédex set up, and then, if you're interested, I'll run you though the basics of a new battle style that was recently developed"

[NeroKun]

The eager young lady nodded and walks behind the professor. "Alright. You lead and I'll follow!"

[Chrysm]

(gender mix-up)

The professor nodded, lightly chuckling at the boy's eagerness, and headed into the room where the Pokémon were waiting

"Alrighty here" he said "We have Grass type Stumplet, Fire type Cintah, and Water type Neamph"

Nero kneeled down and looked at the three Pokemon of choice. They all look they could be strong, what with the proper training and all.

"I'll do Cintah!" He said.
