Kieran held no recollections of her mother aside from photographs and mementos. For all she knew, they appeared to look alike. She often wished she could've met her mother herself, but her papa was one of the greatest dads in the world! And to Kieran, that's all she needed.
"Kieran, Sweet heart~ Breakfast is done."
A small figure wrapped up in blankets merely groaned, slowly sitting up with sleepy eyes. Kieran's blond hair was standing on end, badly needing a hair brush. A yawn escaped her as she gazed wearily at her father. "Morning papa. I have a bit of a headache." The twelve year old girl sighed as she ran a finger over her head.
She was sure she felt something--but perhaps it were only a bump? Kieran was often a bit hellish to sleep next to--she tossed and turned all the time!
"Breakfast smells yummy though!" She grinned, pushing herself out of bed. The little blond was never one to dwell on things for too long. She bounded past her papa, unaware that the bump she felt earlier was not a bump at all. Rather, two very small horns!

Pip had a slight worried look on his head "Do you wand some advil sweetie?" he said as he walked over to the medicine bin in the kitchen drawer "It might help the pain." Pip already could sence what was going on with his daughter and it was still coming to shock with him on the inside that he might have to remove her from her beloved home to make it safer for her to grow up again.
"It's Pancakes with Strawberry and there is a mug of milk next to the plate~" he said as he smiled as his daughter Aside from his scary dark looks compared to his daughter he was rather sweet once people got close enough for him to understand, Though most people just think he's a crazy tattooed father who likes goth culture and happens to have a un-corrupted daughter in the process.

"Hmm, no, I'll be fine! Especially after I eat." Kieran grinned as she headed into the kitchen. She seemed somewhat confused at her father's concern, believing her predicament to be a simple headache of some sort. As much as she would love to pry into his worried expression further, the declaration of strawberry pancakes and milk overcame any sense of curiosity.
"Yes! My favorite!" Without a moment's pause, Kieran sat down to devour the delicious breakfast her papa so kindly prepared for her. Her friends always found her dad to be cool, yet intimidating, and more often than once did Kieran have to chase snooty girls for labeling her father 'scary'. He was always there for her, and it was comforting to know how much he encouraged her to express herself. He never had a problem with her tomboyish tendencies, and Kieran would never find his outward appearance odd. Pip was a unique man, raising a very extroverted, jovial and tenacious twelve year old.
It wasn't long before Kieran finished her breakfast, ravishingly licking the plate clean. Okay...her table manners could use a wee bit of work.
"Ugh, I really don't want to go to school today. We have gym period again, and the gym teacher said if I throw a ball at Samantha Lowe's head like I did last week, I'll get recess taken away! She's such a drag, papa."

Kieran pouted, placing the dishes into the sink as her papa spoke to her. "I know, I know.." She bit her lip, remembering that day all too well. Papa wasn't too pleased by her actions, and she knew another slip up like that could warrant an unpleasant punishment. Samantha was just one of the many mean, snobby girls in her class that not only made fun of her for her appearance--but her papa as well. Kieran could be kind, but she was certainly not one to let insults slide. She apparently had her mother's temper.
After washing up and brushing her teeth, it seemed the little one still hadn't noticed her tiny horns coming in. Instead, she pulled on her ripped, skinny jeans, and a pink shirt adorned in white skulls. Placing the finishing touches on her outfit, Kieran simply put on her favorite cap.
After tying her shoe laces, Kieran picked up her backpack. "Looks like the bus is here. Ughh...school is hell, papa! You're so lucky you don't hafta go." She all but whined, heading out the door. However, she ran right back inside, quickly placing a kiss to her dad's cheek. "Don't miss me too much while I'm gone!" Kieran smirked, bounding off towards the school bus.
((I'll most likely do a timeskip in my next post! n.n))

Pip sighed when she said she knew, And he really did hate the fact he had to punish her from time to time but he knew it was probably better for her in the end.
He saw her bus arrive so he began to clean dishes and put away things from cooking earlier and saw her head out the door before he could even say good-bye But soon saw her run back in to kiss him on the cheek "Be a good girl and have a good day!" he said as she ran back out the door, He soon found him self writing again and in deep thought by the time she had only been gone ten minutes.
(( go for it :'3))

The school day dwindled onwards, and Kieran found herself moving through the periods with complete and utter boredom. Math, Science, Literature....she couldn't wait for gym! At least she were quite athletic and could finally stretch her tired legs.
"Alright kiddos! The name of the game today is dodge ball. Remember, no aiming for the face. Yes...that means you Kieran!"
All eyes went to her, and she laughed sheepishly.
As everyone began to line up in their teams, Samantha and her lackeys forcefully pushed past Kieran as her and her friends talked about video games. Needless to say, the young blond was not impressed. "Watch where you're going you prissy little snob!"
"Kieran, it's okay...honest. Just ignore them--" Her best friend began, only to be cut off by Samantha.
"I'd expect nothing less from a freak like you Kieran. Always so quick to insult! Why don't you show us what your made of in the game, hmm?"
"Cut the crap, Samantha. I bloodied your nose once, and I'll do it again. And all you'll do is cry to your mommy and daddy..."
Samantha growled as Kieran's friends began to laugh. "At least I have both my parents!"
Before Kieran could lash out and her friends could pull her back, the gym teacher blew her whistle indicating the game was about to begin.
Angrily, the twelve year old went into position. It seemed Samantha's team would be first to throw the ball. While she was never one for the academic part of school, Kieran was quite athletic, and it wasn't long before she was the last one standing on her team.
After a tense stare down, Samantha threw the ball, and Kieran caught it with ease. She licked her lips; Samantha would eat her previous words...
However, just before she were about to strike, Kieran tripped over her shoe laces! They must've loosened during the game! And before she knew it, she had slipped onto her knees, her cap toppling over her head.
A chorus of laughter began, only for it to stop as Samantha screeched, "Look! What's that on her head!?"
Kieran looked confused, all she could make out was hushed whispers and gasps. What? What was on her head?
"Are those...horns?"
Samantha's eyes widened. "I-I knew it. You really are a freak!"
The little blond felt her heart quicken. All eyes were scrutinizing her heavily, and it seemed most kids were in disbelief. Before the gym teacher could usher her up, Kieran slowly rose to her feet. Samantha's mean little face continued to taunt her, and despite her papa's prior words...
Kieran felt herself lose control.
"I-..I am not a freak! You little bitch!" The gym went quiet as Kieran thrust the ball with as much force as she could muster. It hit Samantha point blank.
Her cries became the only sound resonating within the gym walls.
A few moments later, Kieran found herself anxiously waiting to be picked up by her papa. The school had called and told him everything, and now she were racking her brain trying to figure out how she would explain all this.
But the scariest question of all was...
The horns on her head. The teachers seemed to think it were some type of accessory of some sort, but Kieran seemed to think otherwise. What was happening to her? She pondered this, gazing apprehensively at the window as her papa's car pulled up.
((Sorry for the length! >w< ))

"Kieran... Your father is here."
Kieran gulped, slowly sliding out of her seat. Turning to the lady at the front desk, she gave a pleading expression. "Just in case he kills me, can you tell my friends I love them?"
The secretary chuckled, rolling her eyes. "I highly doubt he's going to kill you Kieran."
The little blond sighed, heading over to her father with a look of sheer guilt. Not only was she afraid of being punished, but she also hated disappointing her papa. Still, she would try her hardest to reason her way out of this; for Kieran had questions and inquiries of her own.
"H-Hey papa...long time no see?" She smiled, rubbing the back of her head sheepishly. "You look, um...nice."
