Young Link smiled to himself. Finally he was back in the smash mansion. He missed out on two tournaments, but he got an invitation this time.
The young hero was dead serious when on adventure, but here he could relax and be more kiddy, so he decided to throw a sleepover for some of his fellow fighters. He and Ness had been great friends before so they could catch up and it was a chance to meet some of the new ones as well.

"Um N-ness...this sleepover...uh Young Link is a nice kid right?" Lucas asked as he and Ness got ready. Lucas was very nice, but he was also very shy, sensetive and easily started worrying about things.

"Ugh don't tell me your actually going to some sleepover? We're not 10 anymore you know." Dark Pit was in the room he shared with his light side. As expected the wannabe cool angel had no intention of going and likely needed to be pressured by Pit.

"Young Link? Yeah, he's a great friend! He can be a bit of a troublemaker sometimes, but he's real nice" Ness finished getting his backpack ready. "Don't worry, I'm sure we'll have fun!"

"Don't be such a sourpuss, Pitoo!" said Pit, getting his stuff ready "I may not be ten, but I still like having fun with other kids. What's the point of being stuck in this age if I can't go hang out with them? In fact, you should come too and learn how to let loose for a change!"

"Well I hope so...uh define troublemaker." Lucas winced a bit when he heard that since Troublemakers had a tendency to get spanked. Still he looked a little more at ease now that Ness vouched for Young Link.

"Yeah....not going to happen. I have better things to do." Dark Pit did't of course, but he was too proud to accept something as silly as a sleepover invitation.

"Well, he loves to sneak into people's rooms, bad habit he got from Hyrule, you know. And he breaks vases. And he sometimes plays pranks with all the stuff he's gotten... but he's an overall nice kid, don't worry"

"Oh really? What is it you have to do, Pitoo?" said Pit with a smile.

"Alright I won't. Shall we go see him then?" Lucas asked actually looking forward to it a little. He did look up to the older Link. He finished packing and the two started to walk to Young Link's room.

Young Link heard their voices and ran out of his room with a big smile.
"Ness! Its been way, way too long." He laughed while rushing to his friend.

"Grown up stuff. Like going to the training room and kicking ass." Dark Pit did love to fight, although the training room was closed in the evenings.

(Seems Lucas came back for Smash)

Ness went over and gave Young Link a hug "It's nice to see you again!" As they were embracing, another figure came along: Mega Man. He was looking for a room it seemed, until he found the three other boys "Hello, Young Link? Is this your room?"

"The training room is closed, I know, I've been here longer". He then gave Dark Pit the most provocative smile he could "I think you're afraid of going because the other kids would play truth or dare, right?"

Young Link happily returned the hug.
"Same here buddy." He smiled before letting go when he heard Megaman "Yeah come on inside, come inside. Your one of the people I invited right? I'm young Link." He had't met Mega Man before, so he introduced himself first.

"Excuse me? Just what are you implying?" Dark Pit on the other hand gave the most sour frown he could. Pit had Dark Pit right where he wanted, since his pride would't allow him looking like coward.

Mega Man shook his hand "Yeah, it's my first time in here, I'm glad I can make friends with other kids so quickly!"

"I'm implying" sneered Pit "That you're afraid a bunch of kids can challenge you to something you can't do!"

"Well you look nice, so I don't think things will be a problem." Young Link smiled bringing them inside. His room resembled the inside of a tree and almost everything else inside was made of wood as well. The only exception was a small portrait of the great Deku tree.

"Um Hi. I'm Lucas." The young psy boy meekly introduced himself to Young Link.

"Nice to meet you buddy and no reason to get uncomfertable. Your with friends right?" Young Link gave Lucas an encouraging pat on the back.

"Well imply again. I can take everything they throw at me and then some!" Dark Pit yelled confident he could easily beat some truth or dare game.

Ness went over to Mega Man to shake his hand as well "Hi, I'm Ness, and this is my buddy, Lucas!"
"Nice to meet you two" Responded the robotic boy.

"Yeah right, Pitoo" teased Pit "Well, I'm off, I can't wait to tell the other kids how the dark warrior is afraid of what they can throw at him. I mean, heck, even that scaredy cat Lucas isn't that much of a wuss..."
