Vampire Caretaker
Taiseer Farran was very old, more so than he could remember. He'd walked all the way from Persia, to Europe, but now, felt no urge to go any further. The Crusades had been distasteful enough to drive even him, a monster among men, away from his land, and he was looking for a new home. But, Europe was not a place he wanted to stay, now that this Bubonic Plague was ravaging the land, his food source had grown to be nothing but infested rats, and equally infested people.
Currently, Taiseer's lips and mustache had been soaked in the blood of another rodent, leaving him in legitimate pain, that he hadn't felt in very long. Propped up against a tree, over looking a road that hadn't seen visitors in quite some time. His leather armor, and tightly wrapped turban both felt very heavy and hot, but he didn't have the strength to even remove these.
But, just when he started to contemplate the thought of dying like this, he could have sworn he could see somebody walking up the road.

A young woman with pale skin and dark hair walked along the road, on her way home, or what she called home after all. Her day had been rough as always and with the sickness that spread around quickly, she wasn't sure how much longer she would live anyway. Everything became meaningless for her. She looked around a bit with a sigh, not sure what to do with her life, as she suddenly spotted a tree, where a man sat. She wasn't sure, but didn't he had blood on him. He looked as if he was still breathing! Maybe she could help him somehow.
Quickly, she walked over to him and bend down. "Sir, can you hear me? What happened? Do you feel alright? Shall I get help?", she asked gently but nervously. He didn't seem to be from here at all...

"Your...hand..." He barely sighed, extending his own hand toward her weakly. These simple labors seemed to tax his body heavily, and he almost seemed exhausted, simply from talking and moving his arm. He tried to move his back off of the tree, but his chest only moved slightly, before falling back into place against the trunk again.

The woman watched the man unsure. Her hand? Maybe he wanted to hold it? Nervously she looked at him. All this blood...what happened? Well, he was a dying man and she wouldn't deny him his last wish, if it was such a small one. She reached after his hand and hold it tightly, staring at him for a moment. "Don't worry, it's over soon", she whispered.

Taiseer gave one push, with every last shred of will his body could offer, and clamped his jaw onto her wrist, and rapidly started draining her blood from her veins. With this, his grip on her arm tightened, holding himself up became less labored, and his eyes finally opened fully, filled to the brim with absolute desperation for her blood.

The woman wondered if he wanted to tell her something as he bend over to her, but to her shock he bit her and started drinking her blood! She screamed in surprise and pain and tried to pull her arm away, but the man was too strong. "Let me go you monster!!", she sobbed as tears of desperation filled her eyes.

Much to her likely surprise, Taiseer obeys her order, and lets go of her with his hands and jaw, and quickly backs against the tree again. He's panting loudly, and uses the sleeve of his coat to wipe his mouth off, quickly shouting out. "Hush, already! You're fine!"

The woman sobbed as he let go of her and looked at him shocked. "How can you say that?! They should kill you! You will burn in hell for sure!", she told him and took a few steps back. She felt tears welling up. She needed to get somebody to kill him...but who?
