Japan, some time during the 16th century. A lone girl wanders aimlessly around the countryside, the sole survivor of a massacre vengeful feudal lords have comitted against a clan of Shonobi living in a remote mountain region. The eleven year old is wearing a ragged cape hiding her small frame and a large straw heat to protect herself from the sun. It was a very hot day, to the point where it was easy to get a bad headache. After coming to an inn that had long been torn down by marauding troops or bandits the little on sits down, putting her two Kama´s (basicly a sickle used as a weapon) next to her. She feels very thirsty but there was nothing left except wodden rubble, black from being burned. Then suddenly she sees another traveler who looks like easy prey. The Kunoichi grins. She could be mistaken, though.

(Ha, I haven´t even thought about a name for her, yet. Any idea?)

The traveler she was looking at was by no means an easy prey. As the traveler also had a long background when it came to marital arts, which meant it wouldn't be an easy fight for the young girl, and most certainly not an easy prey. The traveler on the other side of the inn that the young girl was looking at was wearing a black hood and a long robe, although the other traveler looked like an easy prey from the back, you should never judge a book by its cover.

(Perhaps Akane? That's a nice name? Oh and by the way, would you mind the other traveler being a woman?)

Akane dropped her cape and straw hat, revealing herself to be a small, eleven year old girl in a red tunic, her skin tanned and rather dirty from weeks of travel underneath the merciless sun. Her forearms and lower legs were wrapped for protection but she walked barefoot. The girl´s raven black hair was tied back in a long ponytail, giving Akane somewhat of a wild appearance. Her face showed a wicked grin as she sommsersaulted over the broken wood and attacked with both sickles at once. "Surrender or be slain stranger!", she threatened, in case the traveler showed some resistance after all.

The traveler didn't reveal anything, Akane was still unable to see her face as she was wearing her hood. The young girl was obviously inexperienced, as someone who had done this enough times would know that you should always observe a target for a while before making your move. Although the traveler had a pair of sickles at her neck, she didn't move an inch. "What are you looking to obtain from this?" She stated calmly, as she didn't want to scare the girl and get herself killed. This wasn't something Akane had experienced before, someone reacting calmly as her life was on the line.

Akane raised a brow as the mysterious traveler was staying calm, allowing her to get the Kama´s really close to her throat. "Hey, stop with the mysterious hodded stranger bit. Thats my number, not yours. As for what I want from you... Food, drink, Money... I take everything as long as it is useful and can easily be carried along on the way.", the girl said in a harsh tone.

"What makes you think I'll give that to you? You're not being particularly nice to me, I have no reason to give it to you." the traveler said with a calm but somehow a slightly frustrated voice, although you couldn't really tell if she was. "Give me one good reason as to why I should give you anything." She stated as she sat there, no moving a muscle.

"Seriously, Lady. Are you retarded or something? I am holding a Kama to your throat and you are asking me why you should give me anything? This is a robbery you idot. Yes, I know. Not very honorable. But when the high and mighty Lords can do it why not a poor commoner girl such as me?", Akane spoke and refered to the stranger as a women because thats what her voice sounded like. She moved her weapon a bit closer to the strangers throat, cutting it just a little.

"Fine fine, I shall give you what I have. Mind easing up a bit there, I can't get my bag if I slit my own throat whilst doing it." She said with a relaxed tone in her voice as she didn't wanna get herself killed right now. Well, she could get out of this situation, but it would be risky without having the young girl ease up a bit.

Akane was still wary, even as the strange lady seemed not to be hostile, but she lowered her kamas, allowing her to get to her back without receiving another cut. "Alright, but be quick about it. My throat is killing me. Can´t tell when I last drank something.", the small Kunoichi said, indicating that perhaps there was a child benath that tough shell.

That was Akane's mistake, lowering her kamas. The traveler quickly disappeared down her hood and out of the young kunoichi's grip, quickly grabbing the young girls hard, making her instantly drop her weapons. The traveler wasn't any ordinary one, as she was a kunoichi herself. She made sure to press the young girl down towards the ground so she'd fall in case she tried to lift a leg to kick.
