Default Everyone, don't be concerned

Just today, I suffered a devasting injury, but it's not serious. At training, I landed on my upper back and I was paralyzed for 5-15 minutes. I needed special care and I couldn't breathe. So, I rested on a mat having difficulty breathing. But I didn't go to a hospital as I walked out of here with my own power. I'm in my room right now resting my back. I'm not dying, it's just an injury. Just sprained my upper back that's all. Just thought I let everyone know.

I hope so too. They wanted to make sure that I can move my fingers and my head. I was able to. When I landed, I was sitting paralyzed. They put a patch on my back. Even though they thought I broke my neck. I took some advil today.

Be careful out there, rest up until you're feeling 100% normal..and go back to the doctor to have it checked again even if it does feel alright. Sorry to hear about it, take it easy!

Hey, it's me again. I have an update on my back. I'm a little better right now. I am able to walk and jog. And stretch a little. It's not 100%, but I can still move.

Actually, believe ot or not but one of the best things that you can do after you injure your back (As long as it's not broken, or causes you alot of pain) is to keep moving. I pulled a large muscle the entire length of my spine 4 days ago trying to pick up a load of 2x10, and I could barely move or breathe just after it happened. I took the rest of that day off of work, but when I got home I just kept on doing light work to keep moving. The next morning I was so stiff I could barely move, but after some stretching I felt better.

So yeah, just my 2 cents, but don't do anything without your Doctors advice. Hope you feel better soon!!

Are you nuts its far to early for you to be jogging after hurting like that you could make yourself worse that way pushing yourself too soon.

To answer that question Pooka Rabbit, It's like I have a guardian angel protecting me. I've had worse injuries than this. Spiked Shoulder(didn't think it was dislocated), shattered right testicle(still have two thank god), 3 bloodied noses, low back spams, sprained left ankle, and I think that's it. The only time I did go to a doctor is when I broke my right point finger and fractured my right wrist. Whenever I'm injured and I don't think it's serious, I go to the Internet site doctor to find results. And I take care of it from there. Besdies, my karate teacher taught me "no pain" technique and it's working well.
