It was a typical morning today and Sam woke up when he could smell the good smell of cooking which he was sharing a bed with his oldest older beother He changed quickly and ran downstairs for food.

Cedric, one of the brothers who was 12, was sleeping until he could hear some noise. He got up and he headed downstairs.

The eldest of the boys stood before the stove, cooking. He looked up as his brothers came in and smiled.
“Good morning,” he greeted them.

The other twin, Jasper, groaned and forced himself from the bed as well, following his brothers into the kitchen.

Sam hugged his older brother snuggling close to him. “What’s for dinner?” The recently turned five year old asked.

Jason smiles and turned back to the fire.
“I caught a few rabbits in the snares. Do you want to go and get some carrots from the garden?” He asked his brother.

Jasper knelt by the fire and smiled. He certainly didn’t want to go out into the garden and get carrots. He didn’t even like carrots.

Sam nodded his head. “Yes sir!” He said doing a fake salute. He went outside forgetting to close the front door. In front of their house was a garden which Sam began to pick the dirt covered carrots from the ground. Had had some difficulty getting the carrots but he managed to get three. He came back holding them high dirt falling on the kitchen floor. “I got them!”

Jason chuckled and took them.
“Thank you. Go get washed up joe. Cedric! I need you to clean the floors please,@ he called to their other brother.

Jasper took a deep breath and stood and grab his twin.
“Can we play outside after we eat?”
“Probably,” the eldest said.
