Dragon Age: Correction (with Spunny)

The Mage had left his party at the inn bickering over current events and how they should handle them. As much as he liked to throw his say in here and there he was particularly in the mood to deal with such nonsense this time round. They had only been in the city for ten minutes. He sighed as he wandered around in the midst of what seemed to be some sort of celebration. His eyes darted to different stalls and decorations which caught his attention. None of it was familiar; he didn't recognize of the designs or what they were to represent.

Taking the chance, he approached a male wearing clothing that had very similar detail to flags and clothes at most of the stalls.

"Now forgive me being new around here but I need to ask what exactly is all this ruckus about?" he asked inquisitively.

The city of Val Royeaux was impressive at the worst of times, and this certainly wasn't the worst of times. Tapestries and banners hung from every wall, each one a splendid mixture of red and black, with a design that ran down the length of them. Every free table had a bouquet of flowers, with colors ranging from white, pink, and red, and from every archway and doorway stood another decoration; a simple bundle of leaves with two bright red berries.

The man that the mage had talked to was dressed like every other Orlesian noble; clothes warn to be shown off more than they were worn for comfort, a spectacle of color himself. His face was covered with a large, silver mask, though one could see his dark skin from where the mask didn't cover the lower half of his face, his the corner of his mouth turned up into a smirk, and the brown eyes that looked the mage up and down as if appraising him.

"It is a time of celebration, friend." He said, practically purring it out with his Orlesian accent. "A time to forgive old wrongs, and start off anew with your friends. Or sometimes, just to have fun with strangers." He said, giving a small wink at the mage. "Anyone who feels the need to participate, simply stands underneath one of these," Here he gestures towards the bundle of leaves and berries hanging from the nearby archway, "and somebody will attend to them."

"Forgive old wrongs you say," Dorian said as he stroked his chin curiously, taking a look over at the dangling berries he was directed to. "I must say it all sounds a bit intriguing." He looked back at the male who spoke to him, his face hidden behind the mask though Dorian could tell he had some sort smile on his face. "But I suppose if I'm to find out more about this little celebration I'll need to make myself available then, hm?"

Walking over to where he was suggested, he looked around, trying to see if anyone else was stood under the decorations to see what might lie in store. He presumed it would be some sort of local custom or religious blessing. Giving it some more thought however, there was nothing the mage could do to right the amount of wrongs he had committed.

Standing in the instructed spot, he crossed his arms, waiting for someone to arrive. He amused his thoughts of what might happen, even letting his mind wander a little into the gutter sound a handsome fellow arrive play out this little ritual.

Just as Dorian's informant had stated, only a few seconds had passed before someone had quickly made their way to attend to him. Though it wasn't someone from the Chantry or the Templars who usually made their rounds, or any of the townsfolk, who were making their way across the open area, going from shop, pointedly avoiding the little decorations. It was, instead, the informant himself who had walked up to Dorian, gently gripping his bicep.

"Oh? So perhaps there's something you want to be forgiven for. Or maybe you're just into this sort of thing." He said, sounding very amused. Or perhaps eager, as he still wore that smirk upon his face. his eyes giving Dorian's body another appraisal. "No better time to get started than now, shall we?" He asked, tugging Dorian along as he led him back to the outdoor cafe, where the neatly assembled tables and chairs were waiting.

"Oh, and one thing I forgot; the celebration itself involves you getting a nice, hot bottom." He said with a simple smirk. "You understand what I mean, yes?"

Dorian allowed himself to be led as he listened to what the other male had to say. "I wouldn't exactly use the term 'forgiven'," Upon arriving at the small safe and being brought up to speed with the celebration, including the missing info the masked man had conveniently left out, Dorian had a second thought. "Sounds so flagitious coming from a man in a mask, but I don't really have the time to get involved in such frivolous behaviour. I'm more of an intimate fellow, not one for a spot off rough and tumble" He assumed that man was suggesting something sexual, intercourse perhaps, but more aggressive than what he normally sought.

Breaking himself free of the other's grip, he slapped his hands as if to clean them, wiping off the man's intent, he turned to make his way away from the masked individually. "Good day to you."

Unfortunately for Dorian, and perhaps all too fortunately for this masked man who seemed to have set all of this up, getting free wasn't such a simple task. After all, if everyone had second thoughts and just walked away, that would take all of the fun out of this celebrations. But it was a time of atonement, or rather, of punishment, and the people who signed themselves up for it by standing underneath those adornments, whether willing or unwilling, knowing or unknowing, didn't have a say in their punishment.

So the man reached forward, snagging Dorian by the ear, and dragging him back to the outdoor cafe, grabbing one of the chairs and pulling it out.

"Ah-ah~" He practically sang out. "Once this is chosen, you can't part from it until your punisher decides otherwise." He said with an amused tone in his voice, as he took a seat. "I'll admit, I am a bit excited. A man like you must look better after being spanked."

He finished this with a sharp tug to Dorian's arm, yanking the mage straight over his lap.

"Ow, ow, ow!" Dorian audibly yelped, attracting a couple of eyes to look their way. "There are better ways to show your objections," he barked, irritated at the marked man's persistence to the ritual. But that didn't deter his handler as he found himself unwilling forced over the other man's lap. He through his hands out to break his fall and immediately started to push himself upwards and back into a standing position. Some of the folk who were attending the celebrations had started to approach where they both were, about a dozen males with a handful of curious young women, some masked and some not.

"You did not disclose the full terms of the agreement. This is not what I agreed to." The mage hoped that by saying it out loud, those who also practised this ritual would come out and stop such a ridiculous scheme since he had been cheated unfairly. But with no sign of any one taking up his invitation he was left to defend his own pride .
