A happy family { Group RP

I took my brother's hand and looked at the white front door in front of us. It seemed like a nice house, big and plenty of space to play. Being only four years old, the prospect of playing was my priority.

"I wonder what living with Daddy will be like, do you think he'll let us come to work with him? I love airplanes!" I said happily and turned my blue gaze up at my big brother. Until recently, my ten year old brother James and I had been living with our Mother, but after a long battle over custody, our Father won and now we were to live with him.

I held on to my little sisters hand staring at the house quietly before glancing down at her with a small smile. I hadn’t done as much playing as I used to do but still played with her now and then to make her happy since the battle had caused some sadness.

“Hopefully it will be pretty good, he might let us come to work with him they are pretty cool.” I say before turning my own multicolored eyes to look down at her, I wasn’t born with two solid colored eyes instead I had one hazel brown and the other light blue

Sam, there father had a small house slightly out of town, he owned a small farm with a mix of animals. he stood waiting for his children to arrive. he'd made there rooms up just for them.

"Huh, I thought Daddy would be waiting outside---" I say with a small frown but my interest is immediately taken by the small animals around Daddy's farm. "Look James, chickens!" I call to my brother and then released his hand so that I can go run and play with them.

"Hi Chickens!" I say brightly, entering their coop which is big enough for me to crawl through.

“Maybe he’s in the house.” James said as he went and knocked on the door before turning back to his younger sister “I don’t know if you can play with those Allie.” He said before following after her to make sure she didn’t get hurt

“I don’t think you should go in there, dad might get mad.” He said as she already made her way into the coop

"It's fine." Sam said with a smile as he came out, "sorry I missed you right away. But Welcome home." He said with a smile.

Allie came back out of the coop, covered in straw and feathers, and she giggled when she saw her brother, "You should come in and play too, it's a lot of fun." she then looked up and was nervous when their Daddy came. She hadn't seen him since the divorce---when she was two.

She hid nervously behind her big brother and looked up at him, wondering if they should approach.

James gently got the feathers and hay out of her hair with a little laugh “maybe later Allie.” He said then turned around and looked at their father

“It’s alright Allie, he doesn’t bite.” He joked wrapping his arm around her before gently pushing her towards him

Sam smiled, trying to be reassuring, inside he was petrified that me might fail as a father. he loved his kids, there was no doubt about that. That legal battle had cost him a lot in terms of Money and time. But it was more then worth it.

Sam walked over and smiled "You've both grown so much." he said, anyone who knew him would know how hard he was trying to avoid crying. Growing up without a father himself, he'd sworn that he'd always be there for His kids. no matter how hard it was, he wanted to keep that promise.

Allie figured that if her brother was comfortable around their Daddy, then she should be too. She smiled up at the man and then hurried forward, hugging his leg. "I'm almost big enough to reach the bathroom sink at Mommy's!" she said proudly, and peered up at him with those big baby blues. "And James can almost reach on top of the fridge for the cookie jar." she added.

"Daddy, do you have a puppy or a kitty?"
