Geoffrey Danvers had made his fortune on the market as the economy finally started to recover and the second age of prosperity began,able to provide for his family with more than he had ever had. This had unfortunately turned his children into spoiled monsters for the most part and the same could be said for his grandkids. He refused to leave the family's fortune in the hands of those who didn't respect how lucky they were,so in his Last Will and Testament the man set up a certain set of Terms and conditions that had to be agreed to by one of the grandchildren. They would move into the mansion along with his staff and would be instructed by a specially trained butler on how to act as a proper gentleman and human being,if they agreed they would be completely at the butler mercy on how he decided to enforce the rules and the fortune would be turned over to them as soon as he deemed them fully trained.
Then the day came,Mr.Danver breathed his last and was buried,his will and testament explaining the terms to the grandchildren who had attended the reading,none readily willing to accept such terms except one....

Dante stood outside the door to the large four story mansion that stood on several
acres of land on the outskirts of the city,the blonde man awaiting the arrival of the car with his new ward and master to arrive. The 27 year old had been trained for years by the previous head of staff on what was expected of him and what he was expected to teach the young master before ever releasing any of the money to him.

Basil Timothy Wickers stared out the window as the scenery went by thinking back to how he got into this. After listening to the will being read all of his cousins started throwing their hands up and making nasty comments about their late grandfather. He was the youngest of all of them being 19 years old, and somehow it didn't seem like a big deal to him, it was just opening doors for people right?

That was being a gentleman, so he thought it was in the bag. Despite his age and additude the young man's appearance looked the opposite, he wasn't very short, being 5' 3", but compared to his other cousins he felt small. Stepping out of the vehicle once it came to a stop, and his door was opened automatically, he watched his driver pick up the cases and followed behind him. His dark gray eyes scanned the area in curiousity, it looked large compared to his parents home.

"Ah you must be young master Basil" Dante said as the boy finally appeared "Welcome home,we will begin lessons in the evening with dinner however till then shall I show you to your room?" he asked taking the bags from the driver and carrying them inside,holding the door open with a foot for Basil

Basil looked at man, tilting his head as he looked him up and down quickly, sizing him up before suddenly feeling quite short again,"Hello. It's nice to meet you.",he said with smile,"Yeah that'd be great.",he said noting the way he held the door open. Basil opened it a bit wider so he could continue walking, there was no need to have the man struggle to open doors when he had the bags.

Dante made his way up the stairs "Your room for the time being is on the second floor,once you've had a few lessons we will move you up to the master bedroom" he explained as they walked,stopping about halfway down a corridor and opening a door,setting the bags inside "First things first,we need to address your wardrobe" he said "A gentleman shouldn't wear clothing that is ill fitting or inappropriate" he said calmly "While I have dinner prepped I would ask you get your clothes sorted into ones that fit you correctly and have appropriate designs. Graphics are fine to an extent" he explained adjusting one of his gloves "You are welcome to explore the first two floors,the third and fourth are off limits for the time being. If you need me,just press the buzzer by the door" he said before stepping outside of his room "Any questions?"

Basil followed behind him staring around the building in curiousity as the other man spoke, nodding slightly as he went on. Once they got to the room he looked around it slightly before putting his hands into his pockets turning back to the taller male, the aura from the man kept him quiet as not to anger him,"Um, no I don't think I have any at the moment.",Basil stated before he looked at his bags recalling all of what was said. He was always defying trends so this wouldn't be good, biting his lip in thought of that,"I'll get started on the wardrobe thing.". Once he saw him leave he opened the bags, starting all the sorting, it didn't take long for him to make a big pile of things he couldn't wear and a few things he could.

Dante was gone for about a half hour before returning to his room,raising a brow at the large pile of clothes "Well this is quite a large pile of clothes" he said producing a black trash bag and shoveling all of the clothes into his bag,tying it shut and setting it outside the room for housekeeping to pick up "Dinner is about ready,please wash up next door and head downstairs to the right" he said ushering him out of the bedroom and towards the bathroom,heading down the stairs afterwards to set the table.

Basil watched him bag everything up before leaving it outside, he had left just a few items out, it wouldn't be a big deal right? "Well I was known for setting trends... But they weren't always great ones.",he explained before following him out the door, going into the bathroom to wash his hands. He got out his phone messing with it as he checked his social media accounts as he went down the stairs not really looking ahead of him.

Dante was waiting at the bottom of the stairs and snatched the phone from his hands,stopping him mid step with the other hand "No phones at the table and certainly not while you are walking around. You can cause an accident" he said pocketing the phone before removing his hand from his chest,the six foot man giving him a stern look "You can have that back later" he said cooly before leading him into the dining room "Have a seat. Starting from now anything you have to reminded of will be met with consequences" he said pulling his chair out "Do remember not to put your elbows on the table. I shouldn't need to teach you basic table manners I hope"

The young man was absorbed into the bright screen when all of a sudden all he saw was the older man again and felt a hand against his chest,"What? Why not? What else do you do at the table?",he stated looking quite annoyed over it all. Glancing down once he saw his stern look, sitting in his seat he looked up slightly,"I was taught somethings already..",Basil muttered keeping his hands on his lap not moving them.
