An Unexpected Guest at La Fay Manor

Now, this young one came from another universe where summonable weapons crossed between keys and swords existed. One rare ability was that the weapon known as a Keyblade could turn into a Glider, which is a mode of transportation. So marching through the bushes was a young teen, looking around the age of fourteen and bared a nice brunette mane. He wore a long robe of red that looks like what monks could wear, along with a pair of green shorts and a white shirt.

And he happened to be holding one of those Keyblades right now, where he was hacking past the bushes and branches as if he was in the jungle. He managed to exit the forest with luckily his unscratched clothes in one piece, wiping his forehead with his elbow.

That’s when he paused at the sight of such a huge mansion, surrounded by gardens by the side and the front entrance guarded by tall gate. He took one step on the road, of course keeping an eye on any approaching cars.

“Wow... so huge... even bigger than the one in Twilight Town...”

Inside the large manor was a room, an office of sorts.

The office was large and grand, with two red leather and fabric sofa's sitting in front of a large stone fireplace with still warm embers sitting in its hearth, the intricate hand woven carpet on the ground with the intricate design set the room's feel. above the fireplace hung a portrait of a man and a woman, with their young daughter, who looked to be about ten, the man had a strong but king face with hard features and heavy set shoulders, wearing a grey business suit, and short spiky silver hair, the woman had a delicate figure with a gentle kind face and long flowing silver hair, with violet eyes and a warm smile, the young girl in between them was smiling happily in a violet sundress, the picture of a perfect happy family.

On the far right of the room sitting behind her large oak desk sat that same young girl now Lady of the manor, Duchess Christina La Fay, she was a young woman in her early twenties She had a slim figure with a modest bust hidden behind a light grey short sleeves blouse, and a loose darker grey ankle-length dress, she had long silky smooth silver hair with white highlights that flowed over her shoulder and down her back, which matched well with her smooth unblemished complexion. Around her neck sat a decorative neck collar separate from her blouse with a small set of three purple roses with a green ribbon behind them, which matched her violet eyes completing her appearance.

She was busy dealing with her paperwork as was the bane of her station having decided to tackle it herself this morning having just returned from breakfast not an hour before. However as she was working, she felt a sensation wash over her, one that she knew all to well, the feeling of the ward line on her families estate being crossed, she immediately stopped working and set her pen down before closing her eyes as she focused on the sensation and saw in her minds eye the figure of the small boy but she could tell there was something different about him, his aura was different than most, similar to hers but different in some ways, as he made his way down the road toward her manors gates, she could feel the aura's of her guards start to move to meet the boy but decided to do so herself as she stood up from behind her desk, opening her eyes, and with a wave of her hand made a shimmering silver portal to her right as she moved stepping through it, only to step through a similar one three meters outside of the large iron gates, though still inside the ward line of her estate for another thirty acres at the least.

Christina let her eyes glance about for a second she found her target and started to make her way towards him, intent on finding out where he had come from, given the fact that he had just appeared well with in her wards which should have been next to impossible even for magic users like her, unless they were family as the wards would have just bounced anyone out who had tried.

He spent some time looking at the mansion, where it fully reminded him of his visit in Twilight Town. He wondered whether someone already lives there, or if it’s abandoned. If it’s the latter, he hoped there was a ghost living there. As the teen took one step forward, he felt the concrete toad underneath his sneaker; he looked both left and right, seeing that the roads were clear. Plus, he couldn't hear anything so he must be fine crossing the road.

But before he could, he stopped dead in his tracks once his eyes laid on a sign of silver. In seconds, he spread both his legs in a defensive pose while a weapon was spawned in his hands; it was a Keyblade, a strange but magical tool from the universe he came from. Strange, as in it was a giant key overall, but with the hilt of a blade which was gripped tightly by its user. Now, the reason why he brought it out as portals towards him can be trouble; the members of Organization XIII used them to travel to different areas, while Heartless’ and Nobodies appeared within portals of darkness.

Still, better safe than sorry.

But to his surprise, in his line of sight... was a lady. A rather well-dressed lady that has clothes superior to a basic robe and sneakers. As he got a good look at her, he put away his weapon, assured that she wasn’t a threat towards him.

“Excuse me!” He called her from metres away. “Lady! Yoo-hoo!” He lifted one finger. “May I have a word with you? Kinda lost here so I need directions to someplace!”

Christina continued to make her way towards the young man pausing for a moment when he magically spawned the key like weapon but continued as soon as it disappeared once again.

"So you're the one who I sensed penetrating my magical wards," she stated stopping a meter or so from him, "who are you young man?" she asked as she looked him up and down keeping her tone neutral, but her posture firm and authoritative as she stood, she wasn't the Duchess La Fay for nothing.

Rhei looked at her up and down, admiring her clothes at how reminding him of queens. Was she one herself?

“My name’s Rhei Fukui and I’m not from around here. I come from a faraway land that you wouldn’t have heard of. I’m just a lost guy wandering about... so can you help me? I need to know where I am first, and also whether you saw a guy who I’m looking for. His name’s Sora, kinda looks like me but is a fan of black and zips... his hair is more... ugh, spikier. Ever heard of him, or...?”

He wasn’t the patient type really.

Christina held up her hands, "Calm down child, it's quite obvious you are not from around here, the clothing you're wearing and the fact I witnessed you pull a weapon from thin air before dismissing it again prove that fact enough for me" she explained.

"My name is Duchess Christina La Fay, as for where you are, you are currently just past the outer boarder of my estate and close to the boundary of the inner estate where La Fay manor resided", she continued, "you are on Earth, in a country known as the United Kingdom or UK" she stated

"As for if I have seen this Sora, person, I have not, nor has he passed through my wards had he I would have immediately felt his presence, as I did with you" she finished.

Well he was relieved and disappointed at the same time; former is because he knew where he was, and latter is that Sora is once again not in the place he’s looking for. Rhei’s gave a deep sigh and kicked the ground lightly with his shoe.

“UK...? Never heard of it.” He said with a shrug. His mannerisms and character were different to this woman. “And... what? You felt my presence? How? I was miles away from that mansion...” he squinted his eyes. “Have you been spying on me through a telescope?”

Christina chuckled, "no child I was not" she said as she waved her hand and the air seemed to shimmer, "I have magically enchanted all of the estates grounds which I own, should anyone cross the enchantments, known as wards, my magic informs me of their approach, or in your case sudden arrival, which a find most curious, no magic but my families magic should be able to take you inside my wards, so how were you able to do so?"

Whoa, this woman had the power of magic in her own hands! The whole news of learning so actually entertained the teen himself, so he took one step and looked at her up and down. Despite he wanted to know where Sora is, he couldn’t help but gaze upon this mysterious lady before him.

“I just found out this mansion, Duchess. You see, I travel a lot with a special tool of mine. I call it...” Then he outstretched his arm and revealed the Keyblade, it’s light illuminating within his palm. Normally he wouldn’t show it but due to her knowledge of magic itself, he thought she may understand.

“The Keyblade.” The weapon itself was just how it’s named; a long key upon the hilt of the blade, covered with a nice emerald glow. A slight wind billowed across the rod, a few leaves flowing from contact. “This is my very weapon that was gifted to me solely. I can also transform it into this.”

He threw it up into the air, where after a blinding light, no longer it laid there but instead a hovercraft that bared resemblance towards the weapon itself. “My Glider...”

Christina watched intrigued as the young boy displayed the weapon and then its capabilities, "Quite extraordinary, such items are not easily come across in this world, most are family heirlooms passed down through family lines" she explained, "though I would think it dangerous for someone so young to have something so powerful and dangerous, should it fall into the wrong hands the results would be most unfortunate"
