It was midnight in New York, the time were the scum of the streets made live hell for the innocent too foolish to still be outside in the dark alleys and slums of the city. But it was also the time for brave vigilantes to patrol around their territory and attempt to save as many people as possible.

One of these vigilantes was Kevin Spencer, he had spent most of his life serving in the military until he heard of a duo of vigilantes called Hit-Girl and Big Daddy. The two inspiried him to abandon his military career and instead train to become a real life superhero. However, these heroes were somewhat darker than their comic book counterparts. They had no problems with using guns and other deadly weapons and seldom showed mercy to the criminals they encountered.

What Kevin lacked was the creativity to come up with his own superhero identity, so when his training was finished, and he heard that Big Daddy had been killed by the mob, he instead adopted the crime fighting identity of his idol and built a suit similar to his old one. He wasn´t sure how Hit-Girl would react to this once their paths would finally cross, but he was determined to show her that he was a worthy replacement for her dead father.

That night the new Big Daddy finally encountered the partner of the original. It seemed as if they had both decided to interrogate the same drug dealer, but Kevin was quicker. He held a knife to the mans throat while Hit-Girl tried to sneak up on him. Smiling he knocked the dealer out with a swift headbutt and turned around.

„Well, well, who do we have here? Isn´t it past your bed-time, girley?“, he teased. While he liked Hit-Girl and her work he wasn´t above making fun of her a little. It would make her slopppy if she decided to attack and then he could demonstrate that he could deal with any misplaced anger she may
have due to him running around in a costume like her fathers.

Hitgirl scoffed at him "Listen here motherfucker... Youre nothing like Big Daddy and you never will be" she said scowling a bit "Youre just a pothetic look alike" she said with a grin. She then ran at him with her sword slicing at his calf making a sliding move. She then stood up brushing herself off "whadya ust gonna stand there asshole?~" she sneered as she pulled out a gun and started shooting at him. She then glance over at the drug dealer latching him onto the chair with her latch on hand cuffs. She then ran at Spencer once again.

“Maybe I am not like your old man, kid. He seems to have neglected to teach you manners for instance...“, Kevin said and dodged the sword attack. “Well, I don't like the idea of hurting a child.“, he defended himself when she accused him of just standing there. He quickly jumped behibd cover when she pulled out a gun. “Careful, you don't really want to kill me, or do you?“, he asked, glad he wore thick body armor. He emerged from his cover as she put the drug dealer into cuffs, giving Hit- Girl just enough time.for another attack, which he doged again...only this time he grabbed the girls cape and pulled at it, hoping to throw her on the ground hard.

Hitgirl hit the ground with a hard thud "Oof!" she muttered as she hit the ground. She then sat up and looked at him "YOure an asshole you know that!?" she sneered seemingly frustrated "YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO WEAR MY DADS SUIT!!" she said tears welling up in her eyes as she hugged her knees. SHe then started to cry into her hands really upset. She hated seeing how much this man looked like her father. It really hurt her. She looked downat the ground wiping her eyes on her sleeve

"Whoa whoa!", Kevin said as he saw the poor Girl hugging her knees and crying. He hadn´t expected that from this deadly child. "Hey, there is no Need to cry. I can take the mask of if you like."; he offered and knelt down next to her, putting a Hand on her shoulder. She was bratty, but cute. And he hated to see her in emotional pain. "How About we get some ice cream and talk about this like adults?", he offered, smiling at her slightly.

Hit girl looked at her "I dont have any money" he said softly. She then hiccuped from crying. She got up and brushed herself off "I do like ice cream though" she said softly sniffling "you buying?" she asked curiously as she rubbed her nose on her sleeve. She the hiccuped again and looked up at him. Hit-girl then holstered her gun and put her swords away and looked up at him her adorable eyes red from crying

“I have plenty of ice cream in my safehouse. You are invited.“, Kevin said smiling softly. Hit-Girl was too cute when she wasn't being agressive and cursing all the time. When she looked at him with those big eyes he couldn't stop himself from gently ruffling her hair before laying an arm around her small shoulders and leading her to his car, which was a tuned hummer. “Get inside, kiddo.“, he said friendly and gave Hit-Girl a light smack across her posterior, as if she was a kid he had known for years.

Hit-girl gasped as her bottom was smacked as she got into the car "Hey watch it!" she snapped climbing into the car. She then sat in the car putting on her seatbelt and looked out the window as they drove She looked out the window and watched as the buildings flew by. She then noticed they arrived and unbuckled her seat belt and got out and headed into the building "Youre not a pedo right?" she asked curiously looking at him with curiousity

“Sorry“, he said chuckling lightly and drove her to his safehouse which was located in the basement of an abandoned , old building.
He shook his head as she.asked him if he was a pedophile. “Nope, I am a superhero , kid. Come sit down, I'll get the ice cream.“, he offered and got to his fridge. His hideout was rather large, there were lots of guns and other weapons, trophies from criminals he had taken down, a spare costume etc
“Whats your favourite? Vanilla? Chocolate?“, he asked and turned around, wondering how the.girl felt in this new environment.

Hit girl looked at him "Vanilla is my favorite" she said with a nod as she sat at the table looking around in awe at all the guns and weapons he had. She then looked at Spencer "So Im guessing youre a fan of my dad?" she asked curiously "you look just like him minus the mustache... I was never really a big fan of his mustache though" she said shrugging a bit
