It's been a long 48 hours for Nathaniel Muller and his wife and daughter Erica and Ana Muller. The three have just finished moving to a quiet Cul-De-Sac and was a twenty-minute walk to town or a ten-minute flight. A secret about this family was they mostly stay indooor during the day and spend the night active.

"Well, We're all done unpacking our things." Nathaniel said as he places a blender on the kitchen countertop. He takes a look around at his now new home. The coffins had been placed in everyone's room and he could finally relax in the living room as he saw his daughter reading a book from the couch she was laying on and the window was partly open so she could look out the window as well.

As the neighbors arrived next door not too long ago Katya was immediately told to go greet them as if they were old friends. Of course the 12 year old didn't agree to this seeing as she hardly knew these, kinda strange looking, people. Unfortunately she had no say in the matter and could seen walking gloomily to the next house over.

"It'll be fun," her father had said. "Besides, I saw a girl around your age and you need friends. Maybe you could try to talk to her, see if you two like the same things." Right, that was like going up to some random person and asking if they both liked the color blue. Nevertheless she obeyed her parent's wishes. Knocking on the door to the dimly lit house she waited for a reply.

As Ana was so immersed in her book she was startled by knocking on the door. She looks out the window casually and sees a girl her stature and a tall man standing out the door. Her father then makes his way to the door despite her mouthing the word no and repeatedly waving her arms in an "X" fashion. Ignoring his daughter Nathaniel opens the door and greets them. "Hello, You must be one of the neighbors. I am Nathaniel Muller." He greets offering his hand for a handshake. Ana huffs as she sits up straight on the cough and continues to read her book trying to tune out the conversation her father was having.

Katya sorta hoped she would have to wait a while for them to answer so she could have an excuse to walk away. When the door opened up she muttered a curse under her breath before putting the kindest smile she could muster as she accosted the handshake. She almost retracted her hand when she felt how cold his was, Nathaniel Muller he had called himself, but held the handshake before both of them released. "Hello Mr. Muller, my name's Katya Rudina my dad sent me over to greet you. It's nice to meet you, I hope you enjoy being here." That wasn't awkward[she tried and failed to assure herself.

"Well hello, Katya it is so nice to see you. Won't you and your father please come in. Let me introduce you to my family. This is my wife Erica Muller." Nathaniel introduces a woman with long dark brown hair the reaches to her upper back and red lipstick wearing a red blouse and skirt as she takes a seat next to Ana and takes the book away from her daughter to get her to not be rude to their guests.

"And this is my daughter Ana." Nathaniel greets as Ana was the same height and build as Katya though definitely not the same age. She had the same color hair as her mother, had red glasses and wore a red and black shirt and black denim jeans as she decides to put on a smile and greet the girl.

"Hi. I'm Ana. It's nice to meet you." Ana greets though as she gave a smile that showed a bit of her fangs.

As the man introduced himself Mr. Rudina also introduced himself to every family member before starting a conversion with the two adults of the family. Katya sighed as her father talked on knowing that she'd most likely stay longer as a result. Katya and the daughter of their family, Ana, couldn't be anymore different in appearance. Where Ana dark hair and wore glasses, Katya's hair was a light brown. She had on a light pink colored hoodie and shorts that matched her hair in color.

She returned the smile though, knowing that it would be rude not to, and noticed the fangs of the other girl. Katya assumed they were fake so she wasn't alarmed by their presence but she did find it weird that she wore fake vampire fangs. That didn't change the fact that the family seemed pretty normal and she tried to copy her father and start a conversation with the girl.

"Nice to meet you too Ana, cute name by the way," the brunette replied. "I hope you enjoy your stay here."

As the man introduced himself Mr. Rudina also introduced himself to every family member before starting a conversion with the two adults of the family. Katya sighed "Thank you I like your name as well and I hope to enjoy staying here in the area as well." Ana said as she begins to think to herself. "Well she seems nice but I wonder if she's only acting like this because her father forced her to come over." "So Katya do you want me to show you around our house?" Ana offers as she wants to set a good example towards Katya.

"That's a good idea, Ana." Erica said hearing her daughter's offer. "You can give Katya a tour of our home and show her your room. Just remember to mind the expensive things." She warns the two girls.

Katya smiled when the compliment she gave was returned before she blinked at being asked if she wanted to be shown around. Before she could give an answer to the question, her mouth hung open, Ana's mother interrupted and basically answered for her. The brunette turned to Ana and gave a tiny laugh as she scratched behind her head, not trying to show how nervous she was. She hated meeting new people even if she was polite to them as always, and was really hoping they could leave soon. "Guess you'll be my guide."

Katya outstretched a hand toward the rest of the house and said as kindly as she could muster. "Lead the way."

Ana couldn't tell but she felt as if her face was burning when her mother interrupted their conversation and straight out answered for Katya and when she saw the girl outstretched her arm and to lead the way there was no turning back.

"Ok, follow me then." Ana said as she first leads her guest to the kitchen was the closest to the living room which exits into a short hallway with two doors. Behind the first door was a bathroom and the second door opens to her room which had a bed pushed up to wall, the windows had blinds and black curtains over them and the room itself was painted dark brown. "Here's my room. It kind of embarrassing presenting it to a guest." Ana said allowing Katya to see as long as she wants.

Katya noticed the girl's blush but didn't say anything about it, not one to embarrass others. Follow Ana she did, looking at the kitchen which was just a tad bit bigger than her own. The living room was just about the same size as well. As she followed her guide she noticed the bathroom looked a lot nicer than her own. Katya stepped into the girls room and slowly turned in a circle to get a better view of it. "Do you hate light or something?" Katya asked, hoping that didn't sound rude. "Sorry just noticed it was really dark in here."
