A reoccuring debt (with NaughtyPirate)

The sun shone high and it was very warm. The crew of the Queen Anne's revenge was busy with their chores or did enjoy the weather, doing their laundry for once. Just like Murtogg and Mullroy, the former EITC soldiers now in Barbossa's crew.

One 8 year old pirate lass, with shoulder long brown hair and grey-blue eyes was watching them. Sandy Barbossa Jones was quite the little bundle of mischief at times but she sure was her father's joy and pride, which the two knew well. Mullroy spotted the youngster and asked what she was up to. Sandy got to them and sighed. She was bored. "Papa is in his cabin looking at some maps an' stuff! Very boring! He told me to go out to not disturb him." She smiled and got Barbossa's reading glasses out, putting them on. Murtogg had a very bad feeling, he knew the Captain needed them for work, he probably was looking for them all around, cursing and raging! Well maybe they just didn't see...the two pirates decided.

Jack Sparrow was at the helm of his beloved Pearl, enjoying the Sea breeze on his face along with the sun. Ah it was wonderful! He hummed a little tune and looked at his compass. Still on the right course.

Nothing was pointing towards a turn of luck for our well-known Captain, as he soon would meet again with a foe, he thought had been defeated.

Barbossa scowled as he shuffled papers in his desk. He couldn’t find his glasses! He growled a little, standing and stumping over to a book shelf. Perhaps he’d left them there.
Not seeing them, he realized that a sandy must have taken them. His growled and slammmed open the door.

“Sandy! Give me my glasses, little lassie!” He called to her.
He wasn’t truly upset, he’d wanted a break, but it wouldn’t hurt to startle her a little.

Marisol Sparrow ran up the deck of the ship throwing her arms around her papa’s legs.
“Papa! Papa, come play with me!” She chirped, her jade green eyes sparkling under her thick, black curls.
The sun glinted off the pale blue dress she wore, as she tugged on the scarf wrapped around his waist.
“Papa! I’m bored!”

Sandy looked through the glasses, wearing them. She giggled and laughed telling the two how funny they looked like.

As they heard the Capt'ns voice they quickly turned to their laundry, while Sandy nearly toppled over from where she was sitting. The youngster run to her father and looked up to him through the glasses and uttered:"I don' have em! The Kraken took 'em! Aye!" She smiled brightly revealing her tooth gap.

Jack looked down at his little girl and smiled. "Bored? Nah, can't be my dear." He picked her up after having stashed away his compass. "It's been such a lovely day eh? Jus' look at how invitin' the Sea is." He planted a kiss on Marisol's cheek and told Gibbs to heed the helm. "So what kind of game did ye had in mind?"

Barbossa chuckled and lifted her into his arms.
“Careful, sea monkey,” he said.
“Best he not fall into the water.”
He carried her tk the helm, sliding his glasses off her face.
“Do he need some of yer own, lassie?” He teased her, smoothing her hair from her face.


Marisol giggled as she was hoisted up, wrapping her legs around him.
“Papa, we should play hide and seek!” She chirped at him.
“It’s not as fun unless we all play,” she added, solemnly, though her eyes soarkled with mischief.
“Maybe we can all play while we head to port!” She said, plucking his hat from his head and popping into her own dark hair.

Sandy smiled as she heard her father. He was not upset and even picked her up. She hugged him and gave him a kiss on his cheek. "Naye. I can still see jolly good! I can find teh cookies an' teh treasures!" She told him seriously. "It's just fun to see. How can ye look with these papa?" She inquired. As her father was now with her she smiled again and asked:"Can ye now play with me papa? It be so boring!"

Jack chuckled. A whole ship playing hide and seek would be quite a thing. "Ah I sure can play a bit with ye my darling. However I do need me crew to operate the ship. But, I'm sure Master Scrum could be part if ye like." He suggested, tapping her nose.

Batbossa chuckled and bounced her a bit.
“Ah, I use them to read,” he teased.
And watch after you, little sea monkey!”
He ruffled her hair and smiled.
“We’re going to be making port soon, and ye’ll need to stay with me, little kids.”


Marisol giggled and kissed his cheek.
“Papa, we should get Gibbs and everyone playing!” She told him, tugging his braid playfully.
“It’ll be much more fun! Much,much more fun!”

Sandy smiled as she heard anout making port. "Ohhoo can we go ashore an' have a look around?" She asked and hugged close. "Maybe we go fer a toy an' a drink for ye!" She rubbed her nose against his and asked:" Ah papa play with me until we make port!"

Jack sighed. "Well Master Gibbs can be part too but then it's enough. The others need to work my li'l mermaid. Alright?" He sat her down. "Now go and call them both, telling them that the captain said they have to play with us."

Barbossa chuckled and sat her down.
“And what should we play, little one?” He asked her, casting a look over his crew. All of them adored his daughter almost as much as he imself did. They were tolerant and kind, usually. They knew the Captain wouldnhave it no other way. That did not, however, mean that he wouldn’t punish his beloved daughter should she ever deserve it.


Marisol giggled and pranced off, her papas hat bouncing on her head. She grabbed the men, and rugged then. It was fortunate indeed that they’d been standing together.
“Come!” She ordered in her best Captain voice.
“Papa says you must come and play with us!” She said, her giggles betraying her attempt at command.

Sandy grinned and looked at him. She then declared:"We havta play catch teh Kraken! I'll be teh Kraken an' ye gotta catch me!" She would be not too fast, besides her father got well used to his peg leg and could be faster than one would know.

She slipped down, tagged her father playfully and ran off. "Ye it!"

Scrum and Gibbs looked up. "Ah playin' with ye young lady Capt'n will be a delight!" He always liked when he hadn't had to do chores. Gibbs got down and looked at her. "And what kind of game shall this be?" Jack got behind Marisol and said:" A very important one master Gibbs! We need to hide an' seek."

Barbossa chuckled and let her get a few steps away. He loved to play with her, especially knowing that his ship was steered in the direction he needed RJ be going. They’d need to find port soon to reshoot, and he looked forward to seeing his daughters face light up as they went about Tortuga.

He chased after her with a chuckled, grabbing her nimbly and tickling her.


Marisol smiled and looked up at her beloved Papa.
“Yes! Master Gibbs, you should seek is all first!” She declared, deciding he be the best option. Besides, he papa always had the best hiding places, and she could always steal them!

(I was thinking she’d get taken during g the game? Making snack he’d to port to find some answers?)
