Jane opened her eyes. The room was quiet except the occasional sound of computers running. She turned her head slowly, her eyes focusing and saw an almost perfect mirror image of herself laying on a examination table. The only real difference between herself and her twin sister was their hair. Jenifer's hair was long and dark brown while Jane's was shoulder length brown with the tips dyed green. The day's previous events came back to her, the cells, the trial, even the last moments before she was rejuvenated.

She could even still hear her sister in her mind softly crying. She sat up and said quietly, "hey, Jen wake up." Her sister stirred and opened her eyes. She looked over at her own almost perfect reflection and tried to smile. It almost broke Jane's heart, after all it was her fault the two were in this situation. Jenifer picked up on this and said, "Don't worry Jan, we'll be fine." The two had been alone in the world for quite a few years and, though almost complete opposites, were inseparable. They had been extremely lucky too be allowed to stay together. The psychologists though it would be easier to rehabilitate them together as the stress of being apart would only make things more difficult. Their crime was kidnapping, and while no one got hurt it was still a serious crime. 5 cycles 7 to 14 was their sentence.

Jane started to get up, but was quickly rebuked by one of the nurses. She was told to lay back down if she knew what was good for her and to her own surprise she quickly did. She had a sudden overwhelming fear from the tone of the woman's voice and couldn't help but obey. It wasn't long before they had been checked out, dressed in matching dresses. Jenifer dress was a light blue color, while Jane's was pink to her disgust. Then they were escorted, a little unsteady on their feet, out into the waiting room to meet their new guardian. Jenifer stood behind Jane almost hiding. Jane stood with a look of defiance in her eye, despite being quite afraid herself.

Liza walked through the halls of the Center, glancing left and right as she followed an orderly to the waiting room where her new daughters were. As she passed some kids with their new parents, said kids looked over at her nervously. Despite being quite good looking and in shape, there was a certain sharpness to her eyes that made them uneasy. As the orderly let her in the waiting room, Liza looked at the twins as if processing them. She didn’t speak first, deciding to let them make the first move.

Jane wasn't sure how to react to the woman. She didn't like the way she was looking at them, but something stopping her from saying so. She could feel Jenifer's face in her back and it gave her some courage. "W.. What are you looking at?" She was surprised, it was harder to say than she thought. The nanoweb at work. A small device implanted after rejuvenation to make the adult mind, emotions, and reaction to pain more child like. She had to maintain a tough exterior, Jenifer on the other hand only peeked out at the woman from behind her sister giving the faintest of smiles before ducking back behind her.

Liza looked over as Jane spoke, hiding a faint smirk at her “bravery”. She gave a subtle nod to Jenifer’s light smile and looked back at Jane. “What I’m looking at is a little girl about to get her butt spanked before even being taken home. And don’t think I won’t with these people passing by, that only makes it more rewarding.” She said, folding her arms with a grin to see how the pipsqueak would react to that.

Jane looked uncertain, any courage she had fading away at the thought of the woman in front of her spanking her right here. The look in Liza's eye left the little girl with no doubt that she could and would do it if she pushed back any further. A slight pout crossed Jane's face as she looked away, "Ok geez," she mumbled. Jenifer was now peeking out as her curiosity outweighed her shyness. In a small voice she asked, "are you our new mommy?" The look on Jane's face made it clear she definitely wasn't going to consider the woman anything but a nuisance. Jenifer had mostly already come to terms with their situation, where her sister hadn't.
