Salax awoke with a yawn and proceeded to crawl out of bed. Taking off his pajamas, he spent a moment to smooth down his short gray fur. Completing that, he pulled on his robes, strapped on his lightsaber, and headed out to find his master. They had just finished a diplomatic mission and were on their way back to Coruscant, and were catching a ride back with some of the clones on their Venerator.

Salax was a clawdite, a shapeshifting species, but was currently taking the appearance of a squib, as they had been on the planet they were previously on and was trying a new look. As such, he currently had short gray fur, large blue eyes, and was just a little over 2 feet tall, as he was still a child.

His master was a human named Zooten. Zooten was about six feet tall with brown hair and a clean shaven face.

Zooten hopped that Salax has done his meditation this morning, this would be the fifth time this week he had to remind him and warned him that he would spank him if he forgot again.

Salax walked into his master's room and gave a slight smile. "Good morning, Master. Sleep well?" he asked. Salax had the strange feeling that he was forgetting something, but pushed the feeling aside; he'd give it more thought later, confident that if it was truly important he'd have remembered it.

"Good morning, Salax." Zooten said, putting down his tea. "Did you meditate this morning?"

Salax froze; so that's what he forgot. "Um, not... yet, Master. I'll go do it now" he finished quickly, hoping his master would let him go. He turned slightly toward the door and took a step, looking to see his master's reaction

Zooden frowned and put a hand on Salax's shoulder. "I waned you what would happen if you forgot again." the master said.

"I-I know, Master. I can still do them!" he pleaded. He wrung his hands nervously, hoping that his master would let him, but knowing it wouldn't happen.

"No, I'm sorry, you must be punished." Zooden said, still frowning. "Undress completely and fold your clothing neatly on the bed." the Jedi master instructed.

"But I-" Salax stopped and then sighed. "Yes, Master." He rather slowly started taking off his robes, stopping after each layer to fold it and place it on the bed. He hoped that at some point his master would change his mind, but he didn't, and soon Salax was standing naked by the bed, looking down at the ground.
