"I have you know little Miss Might..." Super villain Red Haze muttered to herself as she watched the girl walk out of school at the last bell. After weeks of research her last battle with the mysterious heroine, over a month ago, was the final clue she needed to uncover her secret identity. She had taken the girl's school hostage to ransom the students. While she waited for the city to gather her money she spent the time gathering her power by tanning the hides of her captives.

Red Haze had the unique ability to fuel her power with the pain of other's. It didn't have to be spanking per say but it was definitely her favorite method! When she tapped into her resovior of power her eyes glowed red and her strenght and agility would greatly increase. She could expend even more pain for even greater boosts and felt she needed all the power she could get everytime she had to face Miss Mighty.

Yet she had only spanked 1/2 of a single classroom before Miss Mighty appeared to foil her plans. As she finished with a student she sent them out with a henchmen to be dumped in the gym, yet it was only after she spanked a certain Marie Monroe did Miss Mighty appear...

Since then she had cleverly manipulated the girls parents into making Her the girls babysitter, so that she could test her theory and maybe steal the source of the girl's power.

Wiping the evil smile off her face Red Haze approached her target. "Hello Sweetie pie you must be Marie! I'm Veronica! Your new babysitter!" She said loudly and bubbly enough for the girls friends to hear in the hopes she'd be embarrassed.

Veronica kept her red hair cut short into a pixie cut hairstyle. She had a shaply, athletic build dressed in a pullover sweater to beat the fall cold, and a tight pair of jeans.

"Come on Marie you gotta tell us what has you in the dumps," a girl called out as small pack of girls made thier way across the lawn. She was of course speaking to Marie Monroe, a normally cheerful and friendly girl who had been grumpy and withdrawn all day. All of Marie's friends had been concerned for the eleven year but she had been stubbornly silent all day about the sourse of her woes was.

What none of her friends could know was that Marie was living a double life. Most of the time she was Marie Monroe, average student and mostly well behaved daughter, but when trouble arrived she said her magic word and became the marvelous Miss Mighty! Ever since the day she had gotten her powers she had been the best hero she could, working to keep the city safe from the seemingly countless villains who plagued it. Unfortunately she had to keep her alter ego a secret, which meant when her parents started asking questions about why she wasn't getting all her homework done or why she hadn't been going straight home like she was suppose to she had nothing resembling a good excuse. Last night they had scolded her for all the various misdeeds they had somehow found out about before informing her that they were hiring a sitter to make sure it all stopped. Now Marie was stuck with the double whammy of trying to make sure none of her friends found out she had a sitter, because what eleven year old needed one, while also figuring out how she was going to keep being Miss Mighty.

As they came to the sidewalk in front of the school Marie broke away from the rest of her group and got ready to say her goodbyes for the day, just like usual. While they had been clumped together spotting Marie would have been no easy task. The whole group were dressed the same in thier uniform shirts, green plaid skirts, saddle shoes and tall white socks. They could have worn the uniform jumper dress instead of course but it was universally recognized that only little kids wore that, the big sixth grade girls all wore the uniform skirt. Marie's build didn't help her stand out as while she wasn't exceptionally short for her age all of het friends had at least an inch of height on her, and several others had taken to wearing thier hair pulled back with the green uniform headband the same way Marie kept her shoulder length blonde tresses.

"Look I'm sure I'll be find tomorrow," Marie assured the others with a forced smile. "I'll text you guys later, okay?" She had just gotten nods and assurances that the others would do the same when the redheaded woman suddenly arrived. Marie's face instantly heated up as the woman boldly declared who she was. Her friends' faces were all shocked at the declaration, though she noted a few of the girls she wasn't as close with already looked like they were starting to find some humor in the situation. "I'll see you guys tomorrow," Marie reiterated before turning on her heel and hurrying in the direction of home. With any luck this Veronica would keep her mouth shut until they got there, or at least until they were away from the school.

"Woah slow down Silver speedster! (Another popular hero in town). I've heard so much about you and there is no way this cutie pie is the naughty little girl i'm supposed to be watching." Veronica said warmly as she met the preteens stride. "I need you to hold my hand sweetie just in case you think about running off." She informed Marie as she held out her hand. It's so cute the way "miss mighty" blushes, I hope the other cheeks do just as well. The villain mused sadistically.

Veronica's comments only made the girl blush brighter and got a giggle from those still within earshot, both from those who actually knew Marie and those that were just getting a kick out if seeing someone else's misfortune. After glancing over her shoulder for a moment to see her friends still watching her retreat Marie turned to give the older girl a scowl. "I'm not going to run off," she grumbled. "I'm not some little kid."

"Watch the attitude little miss!" The older woman scolded, turning stern. "I don't care how old you are. I promised your mother I would take care of you and this is how I plan to do it. Now no more arguing." She said sternly not caring who heard the scolding.

Marie huffed and pouted down at her feet. Was this woman for real? She had known her parents were upset last night but sending someone like this to embarrass her in front of the whole school just seemed a bit much. Still there wasn't much she could do so reluctantly the blonde took the offered hand, to a fresh wave of giggles from thise still watching. Marie was suddenly very glad they would be turning the corner at the end of the block. "Are you happy now," she huffed while still pouting and refusing to look at the redhead.

"Actually yes." She subtly increased the volume of her voice and the pitch of her voice to make sure any onlookers could hear. "But one more shred of attitude from you little girl and you are going straight over my knee in front of all your friends little miss mighty." She said as casually as if she was talking about the weather, brushing past the casual use of her alter ego to see her reaction.

Marie stumbled upon hearing the name of her alter ego, embarasingly having to use the hand held in her own to keep from falling. She gave a panicked look around for a moment before trying to put on calm herself down. It occured to her that Veronica had previously called her Silver Speedster, so the Missy Mighty comment was probably just a joke. Of course once her panic over the refrence to her heroic persona passed she was able to process and panic over the threat of a public spanking. "You can't do that," Marie insisted in a hushed tone. "There is no way my parents would let you."

Marie stared at the woman disbelievingly for a moment. It was hard to believe what she was hearing considering her parents had never spanked her before. In fact that spanking she had been forced to endure when that no good Red Haze had attacked her school had been her first ever. It had taken every ounce of self control that day not to say her magic word until she was alone, although the blows she had landed once she had come back as Miss Mighty had been particularly satisfying.

What Marie hadn't considered was that her parents weren't actually opposed to spanking, they just hadn't thought it was a good fit for their daughter until recently. As Marie had always been a well behaved girl who tended to show a great deal of remorse from a simple talking to about her actions the Monroe couple had felt no need to use other punishments. Now that she was clearly getting into more serious trouble however they feared the days of having such a well behaved daughter was behind them, thus why they were willing to test the waters with this spanking sitter. If she stopped to think about it Marie might have recalled that few family get together had passed without at least one warning swat landing on one of her cousins' rears, and neither of her parents had ever said a thing against it.

"Well we'll just see about that," Marie declared as she wrenched her hand out of Veronica's grasp. Stopping there on the street she pulled her backpack off her shoulder and started digging around for her phone, intending to give her mother a call and straighten out the whole affair.
