Previously I started a thread to discuss my WIP modded version of the game-
The Passage, but got rejected for not getting permission from the original author.
This time, I sent the author a message and got permission, however I have reached
my private message quota, so I decide to start the thread again.
My modded version is still working in progress, and I will sent the original author the link of my mod for feedback first before being put in here.
Below are my major changes to the theme of the game, however, I lost the content of
my original thread, so I hereby request the moderator to restore my first thread so I could refer and merge the two into one.
1. The game is changed from RPG style to "VN". This means you are not role-playing
the main character anymore, but instead making decisions to tell the life of the MC
like in multiverse with different paths.
2. The gender of MC is fixed to female and named as Rain so as to provide a pre-defined character with consistent personality and behavior, but her behavior will change along the course of events. (I am bad at naming, and English is not my first lang)
3. The goal of the MC is to survive from the world full of corporal punishment practice
which is ruled and affected by the God of Punishment and Discipline (Which is actually you the player to make decisions from the forth wall :P).
P.S: Have you ever played the game Skyrim where there is a Daedric prince called
Molag Bal who represents the concept of domination and enslavement, which means as long as the more people have faith on him/her(No gender for the god), the stronger he will be and he will never die as long as the concept exists.
4. The goal of this mod is to demonstrate how bad the spanking and other related violence are when being used in the educational practice, despite the fact that this mod will be even darker than the original one in terms of the amount of undeserved spanking, but this is just a game, everyone has the right for expression without real harm ofc. This means everything of the game is plotted based on imagination and fantasy with no intention of extension to real life.

Below are my currently implemented major changes to story (excluding the changed mechanics):
1. The step sister is changed to blood-related sister with the submissive personality
who will always follow orders of the step mom to help punish the MC should MC disobey.
2. Both sister and MC now will receive every day maintenance spanking (3 times a day was too much
) from the old lady Matriarch Marida where the name of MC hometown is named after her for her great contribution.
3. The story of MC has just started from the point she has had enough of the maintenance spanking and decides to take action to respond, however there will be only three major paths waited for her story, i.e. join them, fight back, or accept the fate. ( Spoiler: she will definitely need to find like-minded people for help if she wants to fight back.)
4. Sorry, I forget the rest. (I need my original thread back, I really regret not backing up now).
Below are my planned changes but may not be focused :
1. Add character dictionary/index
2. Change the sprites.
