One bright sunny afternoon, Mrs Reed happily strolled down the street of her home city, smiling brightly to herself as she did. You see, the large panda woman and her husband had recently decided to go through with purchasing a pet, after repeated encouragement from her friends and neighbours. However, the pet in question wasn't a dog, a cat or even a guinea pig, it was a teenage human girl, that had been sent to Pawprint City from one of the human orphanages alongside all of the other teenage human orphan girls.

This peculiar arrangement had begun twenty years ago, when the human nations of the world began experiencing a massive surge in overpopulation, no longer possessing the resources to sustain their uncontrollable numbers. However, at that years UN summit, an alternative proposal was brought forward by the Anthro ambassador. Due to the interest that anthros had in human stories that revolved around them, especially the story of the naughty 'Goldilocks', the anthro ambassador suggested that all human females without parents of legal guardians by the age of thirteen, should be sent to anthro settlements across the world, where the residents would be able to procure these young girls as their pets.

Whilst the idea was seen as a little unorthodox, the UN soon agreed, putting the 'Goldilocks Act' into national law, requiring all girls living in a human orphanage who had reached the age of thirteen to be transported to the nearest anthro city or town, where they would be placed into pet stores to await purchase by an anthro family. As expected, this was a huge hit, with it taking only a couple of months for nearly every anthro home to have at least one human girl. However, it was also quickly discovered that many of these girls had a bit of a naughty streak, usually getting up to all kinds of mischief without the watchful eye of their new owners. Finally the moment of truth had arrived, with Mrs Reed setting out for the pet store in town, located inside the Pawprint City Mall.

After about another ten minutes of walking, Mrs Reed finally arrived outside the mall, walking through the automatic doors and making her way towards the pet store on the right hand side, walking inside to see a happy looking rabbit woman standing behind the counter. "Good afternoon" she said in a friendly tone, "I was wondering if it would be possible for me to see the pets you have available for purchase?". Mrs Reed knew that there would probably be about a dozen or so human girls in the backroom, all running around in their store panties as they waited to be taken home by the anthro family that chose them.

she turned around, catching the attention of the rabbit lady as she watched the rabbit out her whistle away. *what could it be"? she thought in her head..until she grumbled. Despite the girls folded arms and pouty demeanour, Mrs Reed continued to smile down fondly at the teen, seeming unaffected by her attitude. In fact, pouty little pets were often more popular amongst prospective owners, as it meant they would require a greater level of attention when it came to discipline, attention Mrs Reed was certain she and Mr Reed would be more than happy to give.

Kiki rolled her eyes at this, huffing as the panda woman repeated her name. "yes...my name is Kiki". she muttered as she stared at the woman. she honestly didn't know what to expect but.she wasn't impressed. "yeah..sounds just nice..thank you". she sighed deeply. being taken to a whole different house..someone's random house..did not sound nice at all in the slightest to her.

despite the woman's kind nature and politeness..she could tell she wasn't gonna like her just by looking at her..but Kiki did that to every one. since her dark blue eyes were covered with her black locks of hair, Kiki was glad she was able to just..glare at the panda woman. *ugh...who does she think she is? I bet her entire kind facade will skip when we leave her* she thought as she just stood where she was..but she honestly wanted to run away from this woman..but she'll just get into trouble...she wasn't in the mood for that.
