It has been a year since the Digidestined left the digital world and continued their lives as normal school kids. To celebrate the anniversary of this achievement, Tai wanted to host a sleepover party in celebration. But as it grew closer to 8pm and no one was there besides his sister Kari, he was about to give up. The truth is, Mimi is just coming back from vacation, Joe is studying for an exam, and Matt is practicing with his band. Just as he was thinking about Matt, TK knocked on the door. This made the two youngest run up to Kari’s room to play. As Tai sighed to close the door, Sora blocked it with her foot. “Sorry I’m late.” She said with a smile, adjusting her normal hat as she was dressed in her normal, sleeveless shirt, jeans and sneakers. The two smiled at each other as Sora put her bag down and the two went to Tai’s room

Tk and Kari were smiling as they were playing video games in Kari's room. They had a lot of fun playing the games. "What do you think that Tai and Sora are doing?" Tk asked with a smile. If he was honest, he did see Tai sort of as a second big brother. "And where is everyone anyway?" TK asked. Kari shrugged. "Tai forgot to make sure that everyone actually wanted to come. All he did was schedule this and hoped that people would show up!" she laughed as TK joined in. "Do you think Sora and Tai are dating?" he asked. Kari nodded. "Of course!" she insisted. "Who else would they date? Matt?' she asked as she and TK laughed again. "Want to see what they are doing?" TK asked. Smiling, Kari nodded and snuck across the hall and opened the door to Tai and Sora's room, sneaking a peek at their actions.

As the door to Tai’s room opened, they would see the two experienced digidestined on chairs playing video games with their backs to the door. Tai was clearly taking it easy on Sora as he let her win most of her games, blushing as he did so. Something he never did when he played Kari. She’s lucky Sora game over or there would’ve been a wedgie with her name on it. Sora didn’t say anything though, enjoying the chance to kick Tai’s butt in something

TK and Kari looked bored. "They aren't dating! They are just playing games!" he said with a groan. Kari looked thoughtful as she looked at the duo. "Maybe we can have some fun, try and get them together?' she suggested. "How are we going to do that?" TK asked. "Simple," Kari explained. "Have you ever played with dolls?' she asked. "Well, we will just treat them both like big dolls and make them love each other!"

As they took a break in between rounds, the pair would only eat a slice of pizza from the box on Tai’s bed or have a drink of their soda. Besides that and the sounds of the television, the two were completely quiet. As Kari and TK plotted, they were none the wiser as they were close to becoming victims

TK and Kari returned and they had a lot of strings with loops on them. "What are we going to do?" he asked. Kari grinned. "I put in some sort of sleeping pill into the soda," she explained. "It should make them tired, and they will find it hard to fight against us," she added. "All we need to do now, is wait for it to take effect."

As the two began downing their drinks, they soon felt their eyelids getting heavy. Soon, after fighting the urges, they both fell asleep in their chairs. Their heads rested against each other as their snoring can be heard from outside the room

TK and Kari blinked. "Must have been some strong stuff," Kari admitted. She just thought it would make them slow and sleepy, not cause a full on blackout. But, what did she know? Smiling, she and TK tied ropes to their older kids arms and legs, so that they could be controlled like puppets.

The older brother and good friend of Kari both mumbled and wiggled around slightly in their sleep, having no idea what was happening in the real world as they were too passed out to feel anything

TK and Kari both smiled. "Now what?" TK asked. Kari smiled. "Now we play house!" she insisted as she made Tai stand, just as TK did Sora. And then both of the "puppets' tried to hug, but ended up colliding with each other. Neither kid was that adept at controlling their new toys yet.
