Wonder Woman, The Amazons and Cheetah RP (for Fenrir13)

My head hurt, like a thousand hangovers hitting at the same time. My eyes burned when I tried to open them, and my body felt like someone had spent all day using me as punching bag. After a couple tries of getting up, I just gave up and laid down on what I felt was a bed.

That's weird, I don’t remember going to bed.

“How is she?”

That voice sounded familiar.

Wonder Woman?

Despite the pain I forced my eyes open to look around. The clean, sanitized surroundings made it obvious that this was a hospital room but where exactly I wasn’t sure.

She is talking to some other hero, Zatanna I think. Both of them hadn’t noticed that I was awake yet.

“Not entirely sure yet, the artefact is “old magic,” powerful and random stuff.”

I had zoned out the rest of their conversation. Instead I was slowly tried to get out the bed without alerting them.

When my feet hit the floor and I tried standing up, I toppled over onto my knees. The noise was enough to get the attention of the heroes in the room.

“Minerva!” I heard Wonder Woman call out.

The next thing I did was throw up all over the floor.

I was overlooking Cheetahs recovery in the Boston hospital with my friend Zatanna, who often came to visit with me.

Part of me felt responsible for Barbaras speedy recovery, because I failed to safe her from herself so many times. It was hard on me and made me doubt myself.

We both were very disgusted when our rejuvenated charge threw up in front of us, but the feeling of pity was much stronger.

"Barbara are you alright?", I asked, while Zatanna muttered a spell to clean up the mess.

I could feel her hand on my shoulder after my little “accident.” The gesture felt wrong to me. I understood that she was trying to comfort me, but having to take comfort in someone who ruined all my plans felt wrong, and it caused something in my mind to go full defensive mode.

“Don’t you dare touch me!” I shook her arm off before crawling away from her and her friend. I gave a little hiss to emphasise my annoyance with her.

I tried to get up to run, but my feet were still to weak to be useful.

“Barbara, please you have to calm down.” She walked over to me.

Since when did Wonder Woman get so big?

Sure she was an Amazon, but I don’t remember her being this big.

I tried clawing in her direction, before she grabbed my hands and lifted me up into her arms.

Wait, what the hell is wrong with me?

Then I saw myself into a mirror.

I was small, it looked like I had shrunk significantly from my 5’9. My face looked younger and some of my scars were missing.

I turned to look at Wonder Woman in the face and asked

“What did you do to me?”

"I did nothing...you did it all yourself. You were messing with old magic, Barbara...and now, you are a kid again.", I said with sympathy, slowly letting go of the wild little Cheetah.

"I am trying to help you. We´ll take you to Themyscira until the spell either has worn off or has been neutralized.", I explained, hoping she would understand.

It hit me, I remember trying to grab an ancient Greek artefact in a museum. There was a flash of light, then nothing.

I guess the rumours were true.

“Let me guess you were the one who found me?” I crossed my arms to show my annoyance with the whole situation.

“Also you are not taking me anywhere, I’m perfectly fine where I am.”

I looked up at here to stand my ground against her.

“Look kid, Themyscira is the best place you could be right now” Zatanna spoke up from behind Wonder Woman.

“Fuck off, this doesn’t concern you!” I yelled at her.

"Of course.", I said. Dissaproving of her stubborn disposition.

"Hey, treat Zatanna with a bit of respect, or else...", I spoke, not sure where I was going with this. But a few minutes and I already wanted to throw this child over my knee for her rudeness.

However, that would mean starting of on the wrong foot.

“You can fuck off too, I’m not going anywhere with you.”

A swift kick to her shin and I was running as fast as my weaken legs would let me go.

The sight of a Cheetah-looking kid running down the hall of a hospital caused some of the other patients to panic, but the staff seemed perfectly calm as they went to help the patient that had fallen down from the shock of seeing me.

I didn’t care and just keep running until I found an exit.

I pushed the door open only to find both Wonder Woman and Zatanna staring at me with their arms crossed.

“Going somewhere?”

(BTW how do you feel about public spankings?)

I rubbed my chin and followed, determined to catch the naughty little cheetah. Why did she have to be so bratty?

This rejuvenation was a great opportunity in fact.

She could be reformed, without really having to pay for her crimes!

We found a shortcut and cut her of.

"You come with us young lady!", I said sounding quite authoritative.

My throat tighten at the sight of both of them. In all my fights with Wonder Woman she usually wouldn’t terrify me, but something about her glare caused me to freeze for a few seconds.

What brought me out of it was her grabbing my hand and pulling me along with her.

When I realised that, I tried pulling back and tugging to free my hand but it was all useless.

She dragged me back to my hospital room and sat down on the bed making me stand in-front of her and Zatanna.
