Post Short text based game: Dear Diary

A short game made in Twine, telling a story of spanking and self-discovery through the diary of a 19-year-old girl in a strict private school.
Decide how she writes about her experiences and shape her character accordingly. Quite short, but it contains 8 unique epilogue scenes depending on your choices.

Download it here:

This is a little practice game I made a while ago and spruced up to share it here.
I'm working on another much bigger game, but progress is slowing way down and I wanted to do something different. Also, I'm purely motivated by praise and attention.
That project and this are my first tries at writing erotica or spanking, so any feedback is welcome. Keep in mind that English isn't my first language and while I'm pretty confident in my Grammar, if the way anything is phrased sounds strange, please let me know.
Another thing: I'm putting in a lot more time than I thought I would and I'm considering commissioning some pictures, so I can't help but think about monetizing it. Putting the stuff I make for fun behind a paywall seems dumb to me, not to mention I don't know how good it will be. I'm considering doing some writing commissions or offering input in the game, but I'm sot sure where to start. If anyone here has ideas, that would be great.

I think that was very cute, and very neatly done. Thank you for sharing.

checking out the game now. I do really enjoy text based games
If anything, you could start a patreon! Several creators on here do that. That way you can make a little money and people have the ability to support you outside of praise
I have no problem supporting creators as long as they supply updates/new games

I really love this! Text based stories are my favorite and I think the format is great. I just played through as well behaved but unlucky, I'm looking forward to going through it again.

People like you utterly baffle me.
In terms of you directly this is like your favourite topic, going onto game threads and encouraging our members to go paywall their content and go onto patreon. I've seen you do it before.

What about getting games for free has a person scratching their head and going "Gee, this is fun and all, I just wish it had cost me money for the same thing and was more exclusive and behind a paywall."

My points are rhetorical, I'm not interested in a debate as I find the whole topic unpleasant to talk about tbh (even if it doesn't appear it). I'd just ask you to remember we're not all fortunate enough to have the free cash and income to pay for fetish things. Not all of us can afford subscriptions. If you want to give your money away with donations be my guest but why you'd *prefer* to do it via a third party service that charges extra handling fees I'll never understand. I'd caution you against trying to monetise the things you love and the hobbies others do for fun. Most people here haven't got your money to be okay when content gets paywalled never to come back. Whatever.

a lot of the creators i support on patreon have their game behind a $1 paywall. The other tiers allow early access / beta access, and other stuff. I'm sorry that you want everything in life free and want to exploit game developers. I prefer supporting developers because its not easy making games. It takes a lot of time and effort and it encourages Devs to continue working on the project, or make new ones. Hell, I could say you're the reason most Devs quit making games/updates. If you didn't want a debate then you shouldn't of publicly stated your opinion.

Edit: Take a look at KanaSensei for example. She posts her game for free here, but to get beta/alpha access, you can pay for the ability to do that.

Wow, you're delightful(!) I didn't want a debate 'cos I had a feeling you'd say something silly like that. Like I said, whatever. You've been going around encouraging people to quit this site (sometimes in public, sometimes in private) and it's my fault. I'm exploiting game devs by encouraging people to have a hobby. Sure, it's all RobM's fault. He's made everyone quit(!). It's all my posting in a section I've literally made maybe four posts in in my whole life.

Good God. Stay away from scissors, won't you.

Bro im not encouraging anyone to quit AOTK what are you on about? Godspeak has a patreon, Kana has several sites where you can support her, Bagool has a patreon, Alpha/SoreBottomArt has a patreon, but they all post their games for FREE ON THIS SITE. They just have the ability for you to support them if you so choose. If anything i want more people to come to AOTK.

Oh boy, I didn't mean to start a whole argument here. This went a bit beyond my five-minute game and more into the philosophy of hobby vs side job, but this is still my thread, god-damn it!
Kidding, of course, I appreciate the input from both of you. I said it before, but I definitely won't put anything behind a paywall. For one, I started writing these because I was inspired by the free games on here and want to give something back. Secondly, I'm not even sure how good my stuff is. I was asking here in case anyone enjoys the little sample I made, and how they would be interested in contributing, if anyone is at all. I would want to give something in exchange, just not sure what.
