A brilliantly decorated conifer stood in the corner of her office, illuminating the room in different colours. The rest of the room followed the trend. Baubles, foil streamers, and ornaments were scattered all around. And snacks too. There was a table full of them, mostly sweet. Like her really.

There was another table for Haley. To look festive herself, she’d donned a velvety short dress. Red of course. Along with striped hold-ups. And forest green knickers, which had little bells on it. Oh, and a Santa hat also.

Giggling like a naughty elf, Haley leaned over her desk. So that her bountiful bum would welcome anyone who entered her small office. In case it would be needed, hopefully not that often, there was a paddle next to her as well with a bow tied around the handle.

This was both for celebration and promotion for the twenty-four-year-old new business owner. Any guest who might wander in here could grab a snack and give her bum a cheery spank.

That being said, it was a large table. Anyone who’d like to join her instead of offering a spirited smack could assume the position beside her too.

Arthur was a little anxious since he was relatively new to town and did not know anyone. He was also worried he was too early. But he mustered his courage and walked to the office seeing the festive round sight of Haley's bottom and the paddle next to her. Well this was fun surprise. He walked up the the bent over woman and gave her a firm smack with his hand on the right. "To a happy end of year, and an optimistic beginning of the next!" he toasted, before making his way to the snacks.

Given it was her bum that faced the door, Haley naturally wasn't able to greet her guests properly. From the footsteps coming from behind, she could tell someone walked in. She supposed she didn't need to explain for what exactly she was in this questionable, bum-highlighting position. It wasn't possible to foresee with precision how strong her guests might be and how much of that strength they’d like to share with her backside. So, she braced herself like usual. Thankfully so, as it was a decent one. “Oww!” Haley yelped accordingly. The white pom-pom at the tip of her hat shook. Her bottom did the same, the right side more so. “Cheers,” she said following his toast. “To a happy year full of joy and exciting adventures,” with a grimace contorted smile, she added. “Don't forget to write your name up there~” There was a small whiteboard attached to the wall, along with a marker. She just liked to keep track of her guests.
