Tony a 21 year old college boy was on his way to his girlfriend Meagen's dorm. They met in their freshman year and since then they seemed happy if not a little dull at times. There was something, a spark that was missing from the relationship and he couldn't figure out what it was that was missing.

Meagan sat in her dorm, bored. All of her three roommates were out, and her boyfriend hadn't come yet. She was bored with the relationship as well. She liked Tony, liked him a lot, but there was a spark missing. She didnt think it was Tony's fault, but her boredom mainly took the form of anger when he was around.

Tony knocked on her door with a single red rose in his hand, he liked to surprise her with random sweet gestures like that. Maybe it would help with the spark they both seemed to have lost. He wanted it to work out, he really did like Meagan.

When she heard the door, Meagan slowly got up and answered it. "Hey Tony," she said, "How long does it take to walk three blocks?" But she smiled when she saw the rose and wrapped her arms around him.

"I was getting you the rose baby." He said smiling as he hugged back. "And for the record it takes ten minutes." He teased as he shut door behind him and gave her a kiss on the lips.

She returned the kiss, and took a step back. She casually laid the rose on a chair, and turned back to Tony. "Well, what do you want to do today? Are you sure you want to go anywhere looking like that?" she said. She didn't really know why she said it. She was very attracted to Tony, but when she was bored, she could be quite mean.

Tony looked at her suddenly hurt. He knew things were going bad but did she have to be such a jerk at times. "I wanted to spend the day with you doing anything because I love being with you. And quite simply I look like I love you whats wrong with that?" He asked trying to play the guilt card.

Pleased with what he said, she blushed slightly. But at the same time, she said sarcastically, "Oh, so you just want to spend the whole day doing nothing? You're a great boyfriend." She rolled her eyes before walking over the the fridge and getting a soda. She didn't offer him one.

Tony walked over to her watching her bend over to get the soda. "You know you used to love spending the day with me just doing nothing. Now you don't care, you just hate me don't you!" He exclaimed as he suddenly and randomly gave her bottom a swat.

Meagan yelped as he swatted her bottom, and turned around to glare at him.
"No! I don't hate you! Its just... I don't know, its been boring! Maybe you could be a better boyfriend or something!" she said it all quickly, and sighed slightly when she was done. "But I don't hate you, not at all."
