"Get away if you want to live, boy!"

Sayian had this ring through his head, as he fled through the streets. The demons, all of them, at least in his village, now hated him. He couldn't guess why, or had more than a faint idea. He did know, it had something to do with the angels, all demons' mortal enemies. If it was their doing, Sayian would have his revenge even harder! of course, right now, he didn't think they would be involved over this.

Almost gone now-- he could see the forest clearing. Soon, he would have no life anymore, and wouldn't have the faintest idea of survival. Why..why him? What? His life was about to be ruined, all because of a misunderstanding. This..wouldn't be good. No..this was a bad effect and impact on his life. really, what fourteen year old orphan would even try to feed information to enemies? He didn't even have rage against his own kind!

Finally, Sayian broke into the woods, and away from the demons. Maybe though..there were a few other demon villages and towns near. Maybe ten or twenty miles to the nearest? He didn't know. He didn't exactly care either.

Slowly, he halted in front of a tree, and sadness overtook him. He sat in front of it, and started crying. this was happening. so-- so fast? WHY!?

Saiyan wasn't exactly alone this far into the woods. Another outcast was out there with him..at least to himself he was an outcast. Neither side would welcome him with open arms if they knew the truth about him, but luckily he looked enough like both to pass.

His name was Rai and he was half-demon, half-angel. He was out in the middle of the woods because this is where he had always lived with his parents before he died. His father was a demon named Rigel; his mother was an angel named Gloria. They had met during a battle 20 years before and had fallen in love, though Rai didn't know the specifics of it. four years later he was born and they had lived together until two years before..when his parents were killed in a battle. Since then Rai had lived on his own.

Rai stopped when he heard a strange sound. To him it sounded like someone was crying. Slowly he walked in the direction of the sound, stopping he saw Saiyan sitting in front of a tree. He blinked a little bit.

Sayian continued sobbing to the ground. "Someone kill me!" he sniffed, as the droplets died out. The earth grew a bit damp from the water display he had just set off, and he sighed, coming to a stand. He had expected to see trees of course, but not another person..looking a lot like a demon-- they were staring at him!

"Don't kill me!" Sayian shreicked, as he jumped back, and hit a tree, where a sharp jab of pain struck him. "Ow," he muttered, reaching back and rubbing the spot, which he was sure was now turning slightly red from the hit. 'that hurt,' he breathed, looking up to see the person once more, where fear streaked past him again.

"EEP!"

Rai blinked as he looked at Saiyan. After watching the whole scene unfold in front of him the half-and-half couldn't help but laugh, one hand resting on his stomach as he did. His cheeks were turning a light pink as he did.
"Well, didn't expect to see this from a demon today...but it sure made my day."

Slowly Rai walked over to Saiyan, smiling lightly at him.
"Don't worry. I'm not here to hurt you."

Laughing? Was it luck, or something actually was funny? Hopefully, it was luck, or else, he might wind up being eaten. "I ain't wanted by any demon from my own village. Sides, my parents went years ago to find new places to set territory and expand their village." His eyes widened as he realised what he said, and looked down. "They never did come back," he sighed.

The newcomer walked over, and Sayian's head jerked up again. "Not here to hurt me..that's a first."

Rai nodded his head at Saiyan. As he heard the story about his parents a slight frown crossed his face. This demon had been alone like him, although for different reasons. When he said not being hurt was a first he chuckled a little bit, extending his hand.
"Well, guess you haven't met that many friendly people then."

Sayian slowly, reached and grabbed the man's hand. He was still unsure of he could trust him though. His light breathing was calm, so it said yes. His mind thought that it was better than having no goals at all and running like a wild goose. This person also did seem trustworthy. Not to mention friendly. His best idea, was to go for it, or go the hell away and never ever come back to this spot.

Sayian moved his arm, and started shaking with him.

Rai smiled at Saiyan as they shook hands, taking the opportunity to help the full demon to his feet. He noticed the tear marks on his face, but shrugged it off.
"So, because of your outburst I don't need to ask why you are crying. How long have you been in this forest?"

"Only a few minutes actually," Sayian sighed. "I don't live anywhere or have anywhere to go now as well." He stared around the woods and background, the earth and air plantiful, and everything..everything was calm now, except for his tense motions, and the soft breathing of them both in the forest. Of course, to Sayian, right now, it was just an excuse to stay quiet as possible.

Rai nodded his head as he looked at Saiyan. From the looks of his cloths he was telling the truth. If he was new to living in the wild they would be a little tattered, at least dirty, by now. He smiled and gently patted his new friends shoulder.
"Well, I live out here by myself. If you want you can stay with me."
