Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.

What? Don't Ban Anime!
Ok. As you know, I was recovering from a cold and an injury in my left knee. As i was surfing the net, I see a petition being held, and some group send messsages to the government and President Barack Obama to ban anime in the U.S. Yes. Ban Anime in the U.S. Meaning no A-cons, no anime DVD's, no nothing. And I will not let that happen. This person claims that anime is so evil and perversed that it is from the dark land of japan. What I have on the link is a petition that i am about to sign along with more people. If we don't do something about, you can kiss anime goodbye period.
http://www.petitiononline.com/4Anime/petition.html
If we do this, we can save anime. If we don't, we're screwed!

I'm afraid it's too late. The other side's petition has already gone through the senate, and President Obama signed it this morning. From now on, the only way to view Japanese cartoons will be illegal bootlegs and through the internet with foreign servers.

To Croup: Don't scare people like that your just telling lies! I looked on all news and anime news sites nothing you said happend! It would be the front page Anime news if it was. So just shut the with your damned lies.
Anime covers things like GAMES too!
Cause many games are based on Anime shows. Those would have to be banned too killing many of the markets in the USA fucking up the economy even more.
This is just some up tight asshole that sees the smallest thing as bad.
Have you ever seen the petion replys? Many of them say a bit "FUCK YOU!" to this idea.
Its not going to happen cause it would be a death blow to so many business and Obama's not that stupied to do this.

Barack Obama has got some issues with isolationism. I disagree with his approach, it didn't work for the "America Fisrters" but bad ideas die slowly. I hope I don't offend anyone with this message.

I feel worried that anyone here even came close to believing such a ridiculous lie, OR came even close to feeling threatened by such a ridiculous petition.

Is this why I see no images at all on the animeotk site-- only the typing? Did this really happen?
