A young dog girl was curled up in an alley, wearing nothing to keep her warm. She had a few bruises over her naked body and she was shivering, in fear and cold.

For Officer Max, it all started out just as any other day. He was patrolling his usual beat, checking for anything suspicious. It'd been a pretty calm day so far. He'd had to hand out a few tickets here and there but nothing serious. He was just about to report back in when he noticed something, no someone in the alley across the street.

He quickly ran over to investigate, shocked at what he found. An injured naked dog girl who looked to be in a bad way. "Hey you! What happened? This is awful...you must be freezing. Poor thing...here take this and come with me." Max said, calmly so as not to startle the girl. Then he slowly removed his coat and started in her direction.

She heard someone coming and took a few steps back, growling..mostly in fear. Her ears were set back and she watched Max closely, ready to run - or bite if she had to.

"Sshhh...just calm down there little one. I'm not going to hurt you, i'm here to help. Look see, i'm a police officer." Max says, pointing to the badge on his shirt as he smiles softly down at the girl, slowly moving towards her. "As a police officer it is my job to protect and serve, that includes helping you. Just relax..." He says gently as he reaches out to put his coat around her.

She growled again, but didn't try to run. She shivered and whined as a cold wind blew.

"There we go...just stay still like that." Max said as he gently draped his coat around the small girls shoulders. "There that should help some with the cold. Can you talk young lady? Do you have a name, and can you tell me why you're out here in such a state? I'm also going to have to take you with me somewhere, alright?"

Her ears twitched. When asked about if she could speak, she bit her lip. "Li..ttle.." She replied. "Few...word...hear people talk." She added, showing she learned from hearing others speak. "No name...live....here..."

Max's heart went out to the small dog-girl. It seemed she'd had it really rough. He planned to help her out to the best of his abilities though. "I see...I was afraid of that. Come with me, i'll get you fixed up little one." Max said as he suddenly reached out to pick the small girl up.

The girl allowed him to pick her up, but was very nervous as she was held. She shivered and whined more, being very cold.

Max held the small girl close to his chest, offering her his warmth as he started to carry her back to his car. "There, don't worry we're gonna get you some help. I'll need to get you checked out at the hospital then, we'll figure out something for you. Understand little one?" Max asked softly as he walked up to his police car.
