I have taken it upon myself to create a blog where users can visit should the unlikely event happen again where AnimeOTK or any of its associated sites go down for some reason or another.

please add this to your book marks and hopefully we shouldnt need it but it should remove any confusion when problems occur and stop some of the griping of users who have lobbied for this.

on another somewhat related note, users should take note that the IRC server is hosted remotely and can be accessed by the following IP 64.32.1.40 with an IRC client, which is in essence another way to stay connected should problems occur meaning there is always an avenue of contact with the Administration of the site and its staff members.

The IRC JavaChat will automatically connect you to the IP (64.32.1.40) when you click the Link.
For mIRC users, if you haven't already taken a look at the mIRC Install & Connect Page, I suggest you do so now.
If you have already installed it but are having difficulties connecting, you should overview the Install page again.
If you want to connect to the Server quickly, you can type the following command into your mIRC TextBox/EditBox:

/server 64.32.1.40:6667

This will connect you to the Server but it won't save Server settings into your mIRC. Please check the Overview on Installation on how to do this.

Once you are connected, it's as simple as typing:

/join #AnimeOTK to join the Main chatroom.

changed avatar a week or two back, after someone took the time to design me one.. tho l might be getting a few more sets, not sure the person hasnt been about for a little while.

as for access issues, it was a server wide issue even l couldnt access when the issues were happening, however touch wood the server shouldnt have an issue again, as it should be just a one off.
