Blue Song Roommate(For Eternal)
It was a hole in the wall, a shitty run down building that told it’s name with a simple sign. ‘Noir’ the neon light flickered and aside from the low buzzing all that could be heard on the street was the foot falls of lonely souls wandering the night. Behind the metal door of the bar/club lights danced around the ceiling and the noise was deafening. The room was filled to capacity with drunk and dancing patrons. A sturdy bar wrapped around two walls that four or five guys served drinks from.
At the peak of the night, almost midnight, a tall slender blond man jumped atop the bar. Over the buzz of the crowed and the blare of the techno music he screamed, “Voodoo Child! Lets hear those drums, LETS HEAR THE DRUMS!” the music switched rapidly to Rogue Trader and the blond on the bar began to dance wildly. The crowed of regulars screamed with delight at his display.
That man was known by the world and Noir as Soda, most outside the bar knew him as Vince as well. Vince Valery; dressed like a male prostitute in leather pants that hung low on his hips and a t-shirt that was tied in the back to expose his mid section, belly button ring, and ‘tramp stamp’. At twenty he was comfortably acquainted with the city police having spent some time with them for various reasons, though none more severe then possession of marijuana, and would possibly be spending this night/morning in a holding cell as Noir was rather regularly raided. That did not bother Vince though, he actually needed a place to stay and the police station was better then the streets.

Multi-colored lights flicked on and off. Music was filling the air, and the room was filled with people dancing, rubbing up against one another. Some of them had very thin and exposing clothes on.Some of them were already making out with each other, later destined to end up in each others bed with no knowledge of person's name, the date, day or city. Some of them took it slow, up against each other, but swaying with each others movements and staring into their eyes.
All around the floor were several tables, each one of them littered with drinks and filled with people who chatted loudly, most of them already drunk beyond reason, their voices slurred and their breathes soaked with the scent of alcohol.
Albert was one of the people that littered the table, drinking a martini while he and his friends all talked and laughed at their conversations, their voices drowned out anywhere else besides their table by the music. He had deep brown hair that was currently a mess, wearing a open button-up sleeveless shirt that revealed the many tattoos on his chest and arms, most of them random designs, ranging anywhere from just flowers to something more tribal. All of them were just outlines, none of the tattoos having any color besides the purple ink used to outline the shapes of the said designs.
it wouldn't be long before Albert and his friends would go into the dance floor and dance, having a good time, enjoying their nights. A lot of the nights were like this. At least twice a week. Partying, dancing, drinking with friends. But then he'd walk home, right past the Noir, and when morning came, if he managed to sleep enough, he'd peel off his clothes, take a cold shower, and wore shirts that hid his tattoos, wore cologne that hid the scent of alcohol, and went back to being another one of the normal busy people who didn't look at all like the party type.

At he end of the pulsing song ‘Soda’ turned to the oldest man behind the bar, “That’s my shift!” he shouted. The man simply nodded while another, body builder type, bartender help Vince off the bar top. It was nearly one in the morning when he walked out onto the street, guitar strapped to his back, carrying a solitary bag. With the distinct smell of alcohol on his breath the slender blond hitched out a thumb. He had sold his body for shelter before and, since the police were a no show that night, that was his aim now.

It was nearly one by the time that Albert got out of the club he was in. He was slightly drunk, and he'd have a hangover the next morning, but at least he could say he had a hell of a time. His man's hair was a mess by now, covering most of his eyes and frizzy, lots of strands sticking out everywhere. He was used to this feeling by now, so long as he didn't pass out in the middle of the sidewalk. He began the walk home, knowing exactly where it was, buttoning up his shirt, and planning to put this in the closet after it was washed, where it'd stay there for a few more days before he'd put it on again.
It wasn't long before he began to pass Noir, seeing a thin, blond man. It wasn't the first time that he's passed by this guy, but he usually tended to ignore him. He was usually too tired at this point to really pay attention.
But something today was different. Something had shifted to where it was no longer a normal time.
As he passed by the blond, he had a small sensation, a feeling that he had seen him before, though he looked so much different than then. This sensation had made him paused, because he had never seen this person before in his...he had never even looked the man in the face.
He realized he must've looked sorta odd, paused suddenly in midstep, musing over this feeling. He couldn't help but turn his head to look at the man, where at this point he was sure he looked completely creepy. He stared at the man's face, taking in every detail as his mind swam through past memories of his childhood in order to figure out why this man looked so familiar.

When the messy looking Albert approached Vince payed little mind, he’d seen the guy before and determined he was not his type. Instead he offered himself to a few other men on the street also leaving the bars for the night.
It wasn’t until Albert stopped and looked directly at him that Vince took notice of an odd familiarity. He shook it off as a drunken, possibly high, one night stand. But since he seemed interested Vince would pitch to him. “What do you say stud, need some company tonight?” he asked in the same tone one would ask the time, “My price is low. All I ask is for a bed to sleep in.” tucking hair behind his pierced ear the blond smiled a fake but pleasing smile. “I’ll make it worth your while..” he finished pulling a silver wrapped condom from the waist band of his pants.

Albert didn't answer for a moment, thinking over the other. He couldn't place a finger on it,but the man was definately familiar. Who was he though? He had no clue. But then again,he was slightly drunk. Maybe in the morning when his head was somewhat more cleared up,he'd figure it out. Until then,he'd keep the man with him, until he could remember who he was.
"I suppose you can stay over." he said, running his nails through his hair as he looked toward the direction of his house."But I'm not going to sleep with you. There's just something about you that strikes me as..familiar." He gestured for the other to follow him as he headed toward his house. If the man didn't follow him, then that'd be alright too. After all, they saw each other quite frequently, despite the fact that this was the only time any words were exchanged between the two.

Tucking the condom back into his waist band Vince shrugged and followed the other man. When Albert told him about the ‘familiar’ feeling he was having about the skinny blond Vince’s mind rattled trying to figure out how he was known.
Five years ago he was so drastically different anyone that had known Vincent Valery then would not recognize him now. He had been a shy child and radically ill, Vince didn’t attend regular school because of a heart condition and immune deficiency. Behind his thick black framed glasses, that he still occasionally wore, and under the loose oversized clothes was a sickly looking creature.
Until he was twelve the only person he knew that was his age was the boy next door, the only real friend he had. Though now thanks to all the drugs, alcohol, and meaningless sex Vince could not remember his face or name. “There was this funny little song I used to sing to him from the fence that parted our yards.” Vince stated as the memory slowly come back, “it was to the tune of Kookaburra... but I can’t remember the words anymore.”

Albert's mind, itself, was wondering as the other spoke. His words were barely audible to the man, but his words still triggered something.Several somethings, really. Small clips of his life were played, small pieces and fragments of his childhood, when a small boy next door would sing to him.
Albert's memory was never the greatest, though. He had always been a...forgetful child, to say the least, and he found that most of his memories of childhood had slipped from his mind, except for a few. Even still, details were missing, and so he had forgotten the face and name of the boy that used to live next door to him. Perhaps it was the alcohol that was effecting his memory. Maybe in the morning, when he'd wake up and prepared himself for the day that was ahead, he'd be able to remember.
"Heh..I remember he was sick all the time.." Albert stated, more to himself than to anyone else, thinking out loud as if to try to slowly pick the shards of the memory and place it into it's piece. "He had been one of my best friends when we were younger. Heh..I think..Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree.." he sang, a bit silently as he remembered the old song.

“Merry merry King of the bush is he. Laugh, Kookaburra. Laugh, Kookaburra. Gay your life must be...” the slender blond sang, childlike, along with the man bringing him home. His natural west London accent strong as he sung. Suddenly he stopped both movement and singing and looked directly at the stranger who was opening up his home to this stray cat of a man, “What’s your name? If you don’t mind me asking.”

Albert stopped the second he sensed that the man who he was inviting into his house stopped. He turned around to look at the man. The question took a moment to register, but as it registered in his mind, he answered, "My name is Albert. Albert Layenette. What about you? I haven't gotten your name either, I think."
(So totally made up that last night XD)
