She sighed, out of all the stuff she did, pranks, not turning in homework on time, mouthing off, and this time she was actually sent up here for something she didn't even mean. Noone wanted to get in trouble before the holidays, NOBODY, not even the rebel kids who spend all their time smoking in the bathrooms.

All she did was pass a note, ONE STINKING NOTE! It was important too, not just some fleeting fancy but an important, life or death emergency memo to her friend Naz. They were going to spring the prank of a lifetime on their mutal hated know-it-all enemy Jack but it had to be set up during lunch which was going on at this very moment as Kelly stood in front of the principals door in her regulation navy shorts and white blouse. Emma look to her very sternly as she picked her up putting her in a chair and smiling as i begin to pace back and fourth a little bit."would you like to explain to me what you were planning or shall i just start the spanking now?"she looked her over and looked really sternly at you."if you dont cooperate your going to end up getting expeled and youll have to go to another school far far away. right now you dont have much of a leg to stand on now you tell me what i want to know or your going to end up expeled" you could see in her eyes thatshe was very serious."if you tell me youll only get in minimal trouble and maybe even get rewarded"

Kelly flinched a bit under the steely gaze but eventually worked up the nerve to talk back. "Hey, that teacher had no right to look through my stuff alright?!" She growled angrily. "You can't punish me for thinking about doing something." The girl insisted, impishly. Her frustration and anger at being cooped up in the orphanage over the holidays beginning to leak out dangerously; approaching full on melt down.

"comon you know thats not gonna work you know i have the right to read that because i can do what ever i want since this is a private school. now you tell me what you and your friends are planning or im going to expel you."she looked at you as she began to look to you and smiling as he looked at your eyes."you used to be such a good kid when you started here"

Kelly was fiercely loyal to her friends and she wouldn't have given them up for pain of torture, they were the only real family she had. "You'll never get shit out of me, so you may as well hang it up." She snapped calmly, her brown-eyed gaze locked on the the principal the entire time, following her movements with the eyes of a hawk. Her features contorted in disgust at the woman's last comment. "Don't you do that! Don't you sit there and smile at me that way, like you understand, like I'm just the stupid teenager." Suddenly she looked away, breaking her vigil. "Allot of things used to be." Her voice got quieter. "I use to be happy." It was almost inaudible now. "My parents use to be alive." Her eyes welled up but she managed to force them down quickly, nearly choking on her own emotion.

She grabbed her and pulled her into a hug and looked down at her as she smiled."i know it is hard to loss your parents but this isnt the way to make people pay attention to you"She smiled and hugged her more and in a i love you way."you know what as a sign of trust im not gonna expell you ,your not gonna get any more spankings,but i want you to think about this what would you parents say if they saw you right now"

Kelly was so distraught that she didn't resist the sudden show of affection. Once she recovered her wits she thought about pushing the woman away but she just couldn't. It had been to long since she'd had something like this for her to shrug it off, she sunk deeper into the embrace. She grimaced at the principal's admonishing tone, as well as the words she had said. For a moment Kelly did think of what her parents would say, and she did not like the vision.

She blushed in shame and hid her face. "I'm sorry." She whispered, astonished at her own words.

She looked down at her this was the first step on a bumpy road for you and she didnt want to betray you by asking you about the prank or whatever else would up set you so she just smiled.as she smiled she rocked you in her arms like a little baby."i know your sorry hunny i know and you know what i think your gonna be happy to hear the news i have for you your going to be adopted."

"W-what?!" She truly was happy, as it was almost unheard of for anyone over the age of eight to actually be adopted. "That's great, who?" The teenager asked excitedly. Her head had been filled with dreams of being adopted by loving foster parents ever since she'd gotten over the initial depression after her parents died. Those dreams had been crushed rather quickly though, as the days went by with not even an interview. The orphanage manager told her 'not to get her hopes up' , but it was too late by then, she'd already been crushed, doomed to the entire rest of her childhood ignored and alone.
