Robin headed to class in a race against the clock,using her speed to her advantage she ran through the hall like a psycho on a mission. Seeing the classroom door closing just ahead she made a quick decision to phase through the wall to avoid being late. Jumping into it and effectively getting through she suddenly came to a halt and found herself in darkness.

"Not again..." She sighed,hitting her head against the inside of the wall.

This wasn't the first time Robin had gotten herself stuck inside of a wall at her new school,and it certainly wouldn't be the last at the rate she was going.

Jarod was just about to address his class when he hears the loud thump in the wall. This wasn't the first time that she had made this mistake while coming to his class, so he worried little about it. As Jarod starts to speak to those already in their seats, a copy splits off from him and moves to the wall, speaking towards it. He couldn't escape the irony, though, that he was speaking to a wall both in the figurative and literal sense.

“Robin, calm down and focus so you can vibrate at the correct frequency to get yourself out of there. Just takes a few deep breaths and try again.”

Robin took a few deep breaths and focused,it took a few minutes but she fell through the wall,carrying some dust and pieces of the wall with her. From the floor she shook her head and got up,brushing the dust off.
"Sorry I'm late" She smiled up at him sheepishly.

The Jarod in front of her merely shakes his head at her as he stands there.

“Robin, I've told you before not to try to use your powers to get to class. You haven't fully mastered them, yet, and you're just as likely to have an accident like this as you are to succeed. I'd like to try to keep the walls in one piece in my classroom.”

He starts to turn, walking back over to the other Jarod.

“Take your seat and turn to chapter five. We're going to be learning about the American Revolution, today.”

As the two Jarods come into contact with each other, the one that had checked on her merges with the other, and continues with the lesson without skipping a beat.

She goes to her desk and pulls out her book,flipping to the right chapter she mumbles,"What good are my powers if I can't even use them...so stupid..."

Jarod looks up from his teaching guide, giving her a brief glance. While it certainly wasn't a superpower, he still had very good hearing. It was something that teachers did.

“There is a time and a place for using your powers, Robin. Right now, you're inexperienced with them, and could easily have an accident while trying to use them. That is why we have classes and workshops that help you to learn to control them, but under monitored conditions that prevent mishaps. We even have teachers who, when they're not trying to teach you what it means to be a superhero from a book without giving you any real experience in it, will help you to focus your powers. That is why powers aren't permitted in my classroom.”

"See that's another thing I think is stupid,teaching what it means to be a hero,I mean for real isn't that common sense crap? That doesn't seem like a relevant subject to teach,it's subjective. There's no theory on it or way to go about it,you just do it." Robin sat back,tilting her chair so it was partially off the ground. "It's just stupid."

“Well, at least we agree on something. However...”

Jarod steps up, reaching down and giving her a stinging swat to the top of her thigh to make her put her chair down.

“You are still a student here, and expected to follow the rules. Keep your attitude down, young lady, as well as your chair legs.”

He turns and starts back to the front of the class, getting ready to address everyone.

“Most of the classes here are on an elective basis, so just don't take those classes if you disagree with them or don't feel that you'd benefit from them. Your guidance counselor can best help you with choosing which classes to take, as that is her job. Now, let's focus on the lesson at hand. The American Revolution....”

Robin jumps at the strike but obediently lowers her chair.
Sighing heavily she pulls out her notebook and takes notes on the revolution,staying quiet the rest of the class.
