Inuyasha: Shippo Spankings

It was an otherwise normal day in the feudal era. The group had stopped to rest, but when Kagome went to get the bag of candy she kept in her backpack to give Shippo a treat she found that half of them were gone!

"Don't look at me." Inuyasha shrugged. He looked to the fox boy. "Well?"

To Kagome's surprise Shippo had readily admitted the theft, then acted like it was no big deal and run off!

"What has gotten into him?" Kagome shook her head.

"You're raising him to be a spoiled brat, that's what." Inuyasha stood up. "If my mother caught me doing any of the things he gets away with she'd tan my hide."

Kagome looked to Sango and Miroku.

"He's right you know." Miroku said.

Sango nodded. "You've always let Shippo get his way, rewarded him for bad behavior, and the moment Inuyasha or anyone else so much as raises their voice to him you're defending him."

Kagome looked to her feet. "I'm...I'm not that much of a pushover with him am I?"

"Yes you are." Inuyasha looked in the direction Shippo had gone. "Unless you start disciplining him, he might end up like Naraku and not care if he hurts people to get his way."

Kagome sighed. "I suppose you're right. But...I don't think I can bring myself to punish him. Whenever I try he just gives me this cute look and I can't go through with it."

Inuyasha thought for a moment. "Then I'll do it. But you have to promise not to interfere. No running to his aid, no sits. And you can't contradict me about the punishments in front of him, he has to think we completely agree on this."

Kagome thought for a moment. Well, she did trust that Inuyasha would never really harm Shippo. And his argument made a lot of sense.

"Alright, it won't be easy, but I promise."

Inuyasha nodded and went off to find the kitsune.

The little kitsune had stolen the candy and he had ran off. He found an abandoned shed and was hiding there, sniffling. He didn't think he would be punished at all but Inuyasha was quite strict. He waited quietly as rain began to fall from the sky like his tears. He would make himself look cute and pitiful to persuade the older male to not punish him even more.

"Dammit Shippo, get back here!" Inuyasha shouted as he followed the cocky brat's scent. He caught him in the forest, laying under a tree and eating the last of the candy he had stolen.

"There you are." Inuyasha lifted him up by his tail.

He saw Inuyasha and he widened his eyes. He felt himself be lifted up and he started to struggle. “Inuyasha, I didn’t mean to eat most of the candy!” He yelled. “Am I in trouble?” He asked worriedly.

"What do you think runt?" He asked before forcing himself to calm down. No, this wasn't the way Mom would have done things.

He sat in front of the tree and placed Shippo standing in front of him. You've been acting like a selfish brat, and we're all sick of it."

Shippo glanced up at Inuyasha, sticking his tongue out at him. "I am not a selfish brat, brat!" He pouted, crossing his arms. "I've done nothing wrong!"

Inuyasha picked the boy up, then set him over his knee. "Alright, that little attitude of your ends today!" He quickly pulled Shippo's pants down revealing his bare bottom.

He felt himself be picked up which he struggled. “I don’t have an attitude!” The child yelled and he felt his pants be pulled down. He started to cry immediacy and he attempted to bite him.

SMACK! "Keep that up and I swear I'll cut a switch!" Inuyasha scolded before smacking the kitsune's bare bottom again.

He cried and he struggled. “Owwie! Please stop!”
