Aria is basically a Phoenix who is adopted by a witch named Tabitha (birth name Edith) and while she is a bit of a brat and troublemaker, she loves Tabitha (and Aileen) dearly and hates upsetting either of them.

The story follows a group of kids that Aria is tasked at training so they can help deal with a large threat in their town. of course, Aria lands herself into a lot of trouble every now and then because of her brash, stubborn, elitist personality.

I'm intrigued on what "being a Phoenix" means and how the MC would play into the world around her. I'm definitely more interested in the threat she's defending the town from, and this kind of setup would need a compelling and developed main cast to be really successful.

I would definitely give it a shot though.

uh... nothing blowing my skirts up about this concept. I mean who doesn't love seeing a stubborn elitist female being taken down a rung or three, but there is really no other reason for the rest of the story. The rest of the details just become filler. Have where the group of kids trigger her to a point, where folly occurs. That she refuses to abandon her task when they try to take it away from her, because she is not ready, and yet she continues to fall prey them triggering her. That would have more promise to catch and maybe hold my attention.
