Jack lay on the cot in his cell. He had just been convicted of possession of a controlled substance, escape from confinement (by driving a delivery truck through the jail's gates), assualt (knocking out the driver of the truck), and multiple armed robberies. His guilt certain, he had been sentenced to 8x6-12, with y-suppression. In other words he was to be rejuved to 6, age to 12, then start again eight times. And he was going to be a girl as well.

Jack looked at his reflection in the toilet as he lit his last cigarette for many years. He wasn't a healthy 26-year old man by any means. He was malnourished, having more important things to buy then food. Infected sores covered his arms from all those dirty needles he used. And he was missing half his teeth.

You wouldn't know it too look at him, Jack reflected, but his paintings once commanded a good price. There was talk of a gallery devoted to his works. But that was years ago...

He looked up suddenly as his cell door opened. "Who the fuck are you?"

"My name is Keene." the brown haired man of above average height and build said "I will be in charge of you once your circumstances change." He explained "Any more swearing and your welcome to your new life will be a warm one."

"Fuck you!" Jack hissed, flicking his cigarette at Keene. "Don't act like you're doing me any favors you fascist prick!" The prisoner settled back down to sulk. "I should just kill myself now and get it over with. At least I'd die a human being and not one of those penny freaks."

"Ooh, tough guy." Jack laughed. "Pretty brave when you face a man in chains, or a little girl less then half your size. Seriously, how do you sick bastards live with yourselves? At least I didn't act like the people I robbed should be gratefull to me."

"Prisoner 285646, your rejuvination chamber is ready." An attendent said as he approached along with two guards.

Jack stood after they released his handcuffs. "Whatever." He said, casting a last glance at Keene before being led away.

"In a way I pity him. The fear behind his toughguy act was plain as day." The rejuve psychologist said as she approached Keene from behind.

A few minutes later Jack was taken out of the rejuvinator, and Keene was notified. By the time he arrived the new little girl was already looking at herself in a mirror, wearing an expression that convied terror, anger, and even a little disbelief. She had dark straight hair, large brown eyes, and wore a pink little skirt and top.
