Stray Nekos (For Rissa)

twenty eight year old Akari Kusinagi takes a nice stroll through the small modern town. It was a beautiful summer day with only small white patches of clouds that dot the sky here and there. As Akari walked, she all of a sudden thought about adopting a child. She didn't want to get married and have one with a man because she had been hurt by men left and right and decided she had enough. But she wanted a child to love and guide. But there was one problem; there were no orphanages in town. She was disheartened a little by this but didn't let that deter her from enjoying this perfect day.

Jasmine and Jade were orphan neko. Having lived on their own for almost all their lives, they stole to stay alive, and were tougher than most kids their age. But they did have one weakness. No-one had figured it out yet, though, even though it was quite obvious since they were only children.

"Nya! I think we should run faster! He's gaining on us!" Jade called out to her twin Jasmine, who was the quiet(er) one of the two.

As they turned a corner, they quickly slammed into a woman. Not expecting it, Jasmine squeaked and darted behind Jade. The man caught up and reached for the twins, but Jade bit the man's hand. "OW! Damn little brats!" He exclaimed, pulling his hand away in surprise. He raised his hand back to slap Jade, but she grabbed her twin's hand and darted behind the woman with her sister before he could.

"GO AWAY!" Jade shouted, causing people to stare. "You can't hit me!"

The man noticed the glares he was getting from civilians and glared at the child, lowering his hand. "Stay away from my shop rotten thief." He growled, before looking at the woman. "I hope you'll figure out how to deal with these two misfits. They have no home and they steal from my shop daily."

"Ooh!" Akari explained when the two little girls ran into her. She was about to ask what why they were running when their pursuer appeared around the corner and tried to catch them. Akari's eyes widen at this sudden event, when the twins hid behind her she gladly shielded them from the angry man. The man tells her they had stolen from him repeatedly and they were real misfits. Once she was able to process all that had happened, she takes a deep breath and looks back at the little neko anthropoid girls and smiled. They both were very cute and indeed they appeared to be strays judging by their tattered clothing. She then approaches the man. "I understand why you're angry..." she said as she takes out her wallet from her purse and pays the man. "Here... this should cover what they've stolen. Now leave them alone. I assure you they won't cause anymore trouble to you."

Jade and Jasmine watched with amazement as the woman stood up for them and paid the man. The man started to walk off, but Jade grabbed the food from the rucksack they had and ran up to him, giving him the makeshift bag full of food. "T-take it..." She said, and as he took the bag, looking confused, darted back behind the woman.

As the man walked off back to his shop, Jade looked up at the woman, as did Jasmine. Both of them appeared scared now. This woman assured him they wouldn't steal. How would she do that? Were they finally going to have a home? But what awaited them in this new home? Jade probably already knew the answer.

Akari approved of one of girl's decision to return the food they stole. She turns and kneels down to their level, giving them a warm smile. "You two must be really hungry to have to steal." she pulls out a packet of chocolate Pocky and pulls out a couple of sticks then hands them each one. "Here you go. I'm Akari." she offered and greeted.

[Rissa]

Jade eyed Jasmine nervously, but when Jasmine stepped forward and hugged the woman, the nervousness for her twin's safety vanished instantly. "T-thank you." Jasmine mumbled, hanging onto the woman's waist, feeling a bit dizzy. "I-I'm J-Jasmine... A-and that's J-Jade..."

Jade noticed instantly that Jasmine looked faint and moved towards the woman, taking the offered food and thanking her for it, before giving the pocky they had been offered to Jasmine. "You need to eat, Jazzy... You're gonna pass out." She said worriedly.

Jasmine wavered a bit, before passing out in the woman's arms. Jade shook her head and frowned. "It's a shame she's the older one. I'm always watching her bloodsugar." Jade sighed, looking up at the woman. "W-what do we do now?" She asked, suddenly nervous.

Or I could have Jasmine wake up when Jade's being spanked and she can cause some sort of commotion... I don't mind. ^__^}}

OOC: I don't think they deserve a spanking since they simply stole to survive. However you could have them steal out of habit after she tells them to never steal again now that they have someone who will provide for them.

Akari smiled when Jasmine hugged Akari and gladly embraced her. "Nice to meet you two." she was concerned with how weak Jasmine sounded and even more when she passed out in her arms. Jade explained why and that made Akari frowned. "Poor thing... don't worry I'll have her eat once she wakes up." she said then reaches out to Jade. "Come here sweetie, you look tired as well. I'll carry you both."

But Jade could still cause some sort of havoc. Kindof was looking forward to a spanking. XD

Jade slowly approached the woman, still seeming cautious of this woman's movements. Once picked up, Jade hugged onto the woman's waist, resting her head on her shoulder. She soon fell asleep being carried, but woke up in a strange home. She sat up with a squeak and looked around in a panic. Jasmine was asleep next to her, so she settled down a bit.

OOC: Hey don't sweat it. They'll be plenty of chances to get them in trouble.

Akari had taken them home and lad them on the sofa in the living room. They had slept for a good two hours now. Akari walks in to check on them and smiled upon seeing Jade awake. "Hi little Jade, did you have a nice nap?" she asked as she sat down beside her.

Jade looked confusedly at the woman. "W-where are we?" She asked, still half asleep. Jasmine felt someone next to her, and naturally was a clingy child, as was Jade. She halfway climbed up onto the woman's lap, curling up and going back to sleep. Jade looked at Akari and smiled. "She tends to cling to things in her sleep. Generally I'm one of the 'things' she clings to." She said, a bit more awake now.
