The Manor stood on a hilltop overlooking a wide forestes area and a narrow road was winding it's way to the heavy iron gates. Here lived the ruler of this land and his court. Valerie was a handmaiden at the court, the teenage girl has come here fairly recently and still wasn't familiar with everything she should know.
Valerie was the daughter of simple peasents down in the forest and had grown up with many siblings. She kinda missed them now.
She was sixteen now old enough to work at the manor. The girl was of average heigth for her age and quite good looking. Her hair was red and curly and her eyes green. She had light skin and freckles. Valerie dressed in a green dress and had an white apron to wear.

Melissa was still asleep though it was neer noon. She was the Mistresses daughter and so was a bit spoiled as well as lazy .

Valerie had been up since sunrise working and cleanimg rooms. The next one she had to take care of was Melissas. She just burst into the young mistresses chamber with a bucket of water in her hand that made loud noises.

Woke up startled and glowered at her clumsy maid,grumbly to herslef under her breath. " Well thats a great way to wake someone " she said,layered with heavy sarcasm.She sat up and pulled up the blanket to cover herslef and waited for her naids defence.

Valerie was shocked she hadn't expected Melissa to be still asleep. In her panic she clumsily let go of the buckett and spilled water all over the floor. "I... I'm sorry." she stuttered.

The window of Melissa's room was open so Stella heard the noise. "That came from my mistresses room." She rushed inside, her sword still in her hand and the next moment poor Valerie felt the tip of a sword against her throat. "Mistress! Are you allright?!" Stella asked. "What happened, did this person attacked you?"

"great start to a work day " she said,a lil more anoyed but not realy infuriated.She was quite uninpressed withher maids response. " well then,clean it up " she half sighed ,a bit of a growl behind it." and when your finished Id apreciate you runjing me a hot bath, afterwards you can finish cleaning the room " she stated calmly,still impacient

"Goodmorning young mistress." The knight greeted sheeting her sword. "Or better good afternoon." She said when she heard a clock stroke twelve times. "Forgive me young mistress but you shouldn't be in bed on an hour like this, it isn't appropriat for a lady of your upbringing, people could think you are lazy." (Stella herself DID think her young mistress was a lazy girl.)
