Hiram Flaversham paced back and forth across his living room. His daughter Olivia was expecting her pen pal to be coming and staying with them for a month or so, and he wanted to make the boy feel right at home.

Young Olivia was up in her room, looking over the many letters she had recieved from her American pen pal, though he was first born in Russia. THe letters discribed many adventures the boy had, and that gave her countless fantasies on similar adventures they could have here in London. Grabbing the most recent letter, she skipped on down the stairs where Hiram was waiting in hte entry way

"Daddy, is he here yet?" she said, excitement clear in her voice

Hiram smiled and picked his little girl up, "not yet darling" he said, waking to the window with his little girl in his arms, "but I expect he will be here soon".

Fievel was Russia that moved the USA, while back ago. He had A pen pal in Country called England. He was surprise that had a girl as pen pal, but quickly they became friends, as they sent each other letters. He had jump at the chance of going to meet Olivia in person. He got on the plane and flew to London for next 48 hours, which included three stops. After he landed he hailed a cab and showed the driver the Address where he post to go. it took an hour to get to place where post he be at. He now believe Olivia's statement how bad the traffic was in the London. He knocked on the door and wait for the owner to answered the door.

Hiram strode over to the door and opened it. Standing on his front pourch, was a little mouse no older than 8. "Hello there" Hiram said warmly, "I'm Mr Flaversham, you must be fievel, please come int", Hiram stood aside to let the small boy in.

Fievel smile, replied "Yes I am Fievel. Thanks let me visit, Mr. Flaversham" He walk into the house and cleaned his shoe off. He saw Olivia in Mr. Flaversham's arm "you must be Olivia, nice to meet you"

Mr Flaversham put his daughter on her feet so she could better talk to Fievel. "Why don't you go and show Fievel your room dear?" he said encouragingly, patting her bottom softly in encouragement.
