Upload limit

Greetings. Liko here.
So, users have 50 image upload limit. At least per gallery. I would like to ask does it reset after a period such as a day or the admins have to clear the queue before it can be filled again.

As stated before I have some time right now and was thinking to help re-populate some of the non-resident galleries. Hopefully if enough traffic is generated the AOTK.com resident artists and members will come here also.

Hi,
After doing a double check I'm convinced you may have seen that limit on something else such as the rating scare which does a 0 to 50 ranking system. I'll note this to check out once I go through everything and make sure it works.
If you'd like to re-establish the non-resident galleries, see another error, or missing albums that were in the old forum, then please let me know. In the end I will be personally asking each residents to come by. Its their choice to come by if they wish.

should we upload former artists images and such? I think I can find several of them here.

Sure, just make sure that you are not re-uploading what is already there, and do not upload try to upload in the Active Community Members category. Also uploading no more than 20 at a time will ensure it will work. Heavy dumps may throw an error(I've never tested it).

Noble Lance (and others reading this) could you please do me a favor and refrain from posting Su work. The reason I am asking is due to the fact that I have about 1500 of those archived and was planning to post them once the uploading is available again.

It is done and in there now.

Oh and LSutton, what's the stance on someone who has their art free for free distribution only, yay or nay?

By that you mean.....?
Emotionally, well I suppose should be allowed to draw without gov't taxes. Just kidding.

I think you mean is it ok to run around online grabbing art from places where they share it for free. I don't have a problem with that but for now I'd be happy to be able to just revive the gallery before adding more. Except for empty non community artists of they allow free distribution.

No that at all LSutton, I just meant like finding the non-community or finding communities that freely distribute their fanart for the masses. But yeah, I actually didn't see that we had a folder for the person I was thinking of, mostly because it didn't click in my mind to look for it so yeah, I'll try to fill up some of the folders as soon as I can.

Oh Lsutton, I have a stack of images for some of the artists in the non-communal section. I too, found that I could only submit 50 per gallery. The error I get tells me this:

You are not allowed to upload more than 50 images.
Please contact the administrator for more information.

Is there a way to expand on it?

The upload limit has been fixed now. You should be able to upload as many as you wish.
