So who was it that said there won't be anymore Ikkitousen anime, after season 2? Well, you're now proven WRONG! The 3rd season is coming out this summer :P



It's small, but that is an annoucement of the 3rd season. Ikkitousen fans of AOTK, rejoice, who knows, you might get more spanking scenes if you're lucky.

Also, could it be possible for a mod to change the tread name to "Official Ikkitousen: Great Guardians thread" or something like that, since it'd be more obvious what this thread is all about, and because the 3rd season's title seems to be Great Guardian.

Yay! yeah wait a minute why is it when I look for Ikkitousen dvds I only can find 4 of them? Why haven't they brought more to dvd yet!? And aki-san if there is a spanking scene in the new season be sure to let us know please.

I'm amazed at how well this series must be doing to get 3 seasons; the comic book is a crime against nature. I mean, in addition to the spanking, the anime is just flat out superior.

First season was great. I hope they manage to get the same VA's for the dub of Dragon Destiny.

Here's an idea: perhaps season 3 will introduce Grandma Sonsaku who will put Goei over her knee just to show that one can never be too old for a spanking.

I just read that season 3 will introduce Hakufu's younger sister. She is an anime only character and I don't know any more details than that.

There are 2 spanking clip's in the Download aria but one of the best ones is Ware Hakafu* spanks herself as a taunts at someone,whoo I mean that ,my word is just so well done .The way her ass and naughty bit's jiggle and respond to each hard slap is just amazing.Man I need to get the other seasons lol

I recall hearing that the manga is good, it's just the [ST]bastardisation[/ST] translation that's bad - completely disregarding any plot or character development in favour of lame jokes ("meanwhile, on the next page") and talking about panty shots.

If I could read their crazy moon-speak, I'd probably look into getting hold of the originals. But I'm far too lazy, and my professional studies are taking me in another direction entirely.

Bastardization is a very good word. I deeply wish a competent translation group had gotten a hold of Ikki Tousen, cause the art is decent, and the plot good enough to warrant an honest effort. Alas...

I've got the japanese mangas, no spanking in them. Couple that with the nudity, rape, consensual sex, molestation, exposure and constant torn-cothes boobage you're left with something resembling a doujin of a sensible series.

I don't know about in the US, but over in britian 'Battle Vixins' or whatever its called is a Tokyopop manga. That to me means run the hell away from the shitty translations and awful conversions.

Nudity edited out, pages blanked or removed, dialogue rewritten to ease the burden of unintelligence or cultural differences so much it totally changes the plot of the thing... and the sound effects left in Japanese - I mean, why god why?
And thats just what they do in general, the hatchett job they did to Ikkitousen much much worse!

I'm afraid you won't find me singing the praises of Ikkitousen, after the first few episodes it just got so depressingly chauvanist I wanted out, I've not seen the sequal and I don't intend to either~
On a side note, I hope that there ARE some more spanking scenes~ I was so glad the pervy director managed to sneak one in (thats two clips each per series so far) and I'm sure if it's the same staff there will be some more even if we DO have to wait until the DVD specials~
