Kate Bells was in the forest near her house but she went in a bit deeper than usual she kicked a stone playfully and ran around freely

[Dark Raven]

A young girl ran around the forest, with all intend to flee from something by the looks of things as she looked behind her several times, not really looking where she was going.

Not too far after the girl heavier footsteps followed the path the girl had taken, a male with a less than pleased look was on pursuit, all the while cursing under his breath that the small child had managed to get away from him again. This was not his idea of fun and he was determined to make that very clear once he had gotten hold of her again, as he always managed to capture her after some effort.

Kate heard the running of the girl and turned around running as well to see what was going on

As she didnt look where she was going she headed right to Kate and crashed with her landing on the ground with a thud. "Oww..." she whined grabbing her elbow in pain and looked at the graze that had now appeared on her skin. Looking up she sees that it is another girl she has crashed into and gives her an apologetic look. "S-sorry.. did I hurt you?" she asks in a quiet voice before looking behind her, hearing the rustling of leaves that only can mean that footsteps are coming closer. A look of fear replaces her guilty look and she scrambles to her feet. "Run!" she near yells at Kate.

Kate hearing this got scared and ran as well but she was much slower and soon tripped her leg getting stuck by a branch

The man hearing the girl he was trying to get to sped up his pace and noticed he wasn't far off. Seeing as the girl was on the run yet again he engaged into a sprint, capturing her easily. Yelping out the girl only managed to anger him even more and she earned herself quite a smack at her backside, shocking her into silence then started to sob instead. "That's the last time you are running off like that Shana, you hear me?!" the man snapped at her and picked her off the ground keeping her on his arm. Now, having managed to get what he wanted most he turns to where he saw Kate run off to and approached her. "Well well, i see your little friend got herself stuck." he says with a smirk and looks at Shana. "Stop your crying, that was just one swat, just wait til we get home young lady, you're in for it big time." he scolds her and looks back down at Kate. Thinking for a moment an idea pops into his head and a more that eerie smile creeps on his face. "Maybe if you had someone to play with you wouldn't run off as much. The more i think on this, the more i like it. Come on little one, you're coming with us." he says and grips Kate's upper arm, pulling her on her feet and away from the branch.

Kate yelped and looked at the man "H-hey w-wait a minute I-I want my daddy!" she said since her mother died a year ago

"Well you got a whole new one how about that huh?" the man told Kate with the same smirk and picked her up off the ground, holding her on the other arm. By this time Shana had stopped her crying and simply looked at the man then Kate in disbelief he was actually planning on taking the other girl. Wiping her eyes dry she kept hold so not to fall and wasnt quite sure how to respond to it all. The man looked at Shana smirking "You like that dont you, a whole new sister to keep you company. See, daddy got good ideas sometimes." he tells her and carefully Shana nods. The idea of having someone else there with her to play with did indeed sound appealing to her, but she was well aware of it that it meant he was kidnapping Kate. This was wrong, but she wasn't bold enough to go against the man, Caleb, her father or as he has come to be since he took her in the same manner as he is taking Kate.

Kate refused giving up and bit the man as hard as she could hoping she would release her from his grip

Yelping in utter pain, Caleb let go of Kate in surprise and dropped Shana in the process. Not about to let go of either one of them he grabbed Kate and shuffled her roughly. "How dare you bite your new daddy!" he snapped at her and picked her up under his arm this time, making sure she is no longer able to bite him again, then snatched Shana's wrist before heading deeper into the forest roughly pulling Shana along. Having trouble keeping up with his speed she tripped on her own feet several times only to be hauled up without hesitation. "Now you're both in for it. And you only have yourself to blame." Caleb muttered more that angered with in his eyes disobedient girls. "No! I'll be good!" Shana tried instantly this time at hearing her doom but Caleb didnt even bother to respond to the girl, instead simply walking on deeper into the forest still.
